(ISBN ) This book is about Tutankhamen s life as a boy and king through his perspective. The book is done fairly well, though there is heavy paganism. Tut s Mummy: Lost and Found, by Donnelly is the incredible true story of the discovery of an Egyptian pharaoh's tomb in the exact same condition it had been left 2000 years earlier. (ISBN ) Who Built the Pyramids?:Usborne Starting Point History, by Jane Chisholm and Sruan Reid is a colorful, fascinating look at Egyptian life. (ISBN ) Elementary Intermediate Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt, in the Random Landmark of Freedom Series is fun reading and dramatic. These are reading books and are not illustrated. (ISBN ) Cleopatra, by Stanley if a fascinating story of a woman who effected two kingdoms and almost came to rule the world. 48 oversized pages with full color illustrations. (ISBN ) Life and Times, Cleopatra and the Egyptians, 1986, by Andrew Langley, The Bookwright Press, New York. This book has a full anthology of Egypt and colorful pictures. It would be great to read together, due to small print. (ISBN ) Pyramid, 1977, by David Macaulay, Houghton Mifflin Company, Boston. This book has excellent in depth pictures of how pyramids are built and what they look like inside and out.
