2 HELSINKI BOOK FAIR 2016 Helsinki Book Fair 2016, to be held from 27 Oct to 30 Oct The Trade Show is take place at Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre in Helsinki, Finland. Helsinki Book Fair is a stand where plenty of pretty important goods are exhibited. Most of these tend to be about Arts, Publishing, Books, Culture, Literature, Library and Book Seller. Helsinki Book Fair is organized annually. The meeting provides a valuable educational experience and an opportunity to network with leading minds in the field, as well as a worldwide community of around Book Fairs professionals from every subspecialty. Messukeskus Helsinki is the PCO of Helsinki Book Fair, Helsinki Book Fair 2016.

4 Books still have a strong position in Finnish society, and 77% of the population buys at least one book a year, says Sakari Laiho, Director of the Finnish Publishers Association. Seventy-five percent of parents read aloud to their children, a practice proven to establish good reading habits early on. What s more, writing is ranked among the most respected professions. 8 DURING THE WHOLE BOOK FAIR, WE MET ALL OF OUR CLIENTS. WE ARE TRYING TO CONTACT KASSA. THEN NEGOTIATE WITH THEM TO PROMOTE OUR AUTHORS IN FINLAND.

9 HELSINKI BOOK FAIR HOLDS MANY EVENTS. THE AUTHOR WILL GET MANY BENEFITS FROM THESE EVENTS.

10 5.5 Million Great Readers! Finland is a small country with 5.5 million people. But it s a big market. During the whole 2016 Helsinki Book Fair, PODG has met top 10 book distributors and top 10 publishers in Finland. We will make full use of different channels which include B2B & B2C market. We will give our clients the best discounts and the best service. What we will do is to encourage our channels to sell more copies for our authors.

18 THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF FINLAND THIS LIBRARY IS ONE OF OUR CLIENTS. WE HOPE THE LIBRARY CAN BUY MORE BOOKS FROM US.

19 The Stockman Bookstore The Stockman Bookstore is the biggest bookstore in Helsinki. It s also one of our clients. Now it s very tough to these big retailers. So they always ask the best discounts. For our authors, PODG is very flexible to make deal with them. After the hard negotiation, all clients have agreed to import more goods from PODG. We believe it is a good news to our authors. We think the North Europe is a good market. PODG will publish and distribute more good books in Finland, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
