Wizards Training Camp One day a year the library magically changes into a Wizards Training Camp. We are opening the camp to Wizards of ALL AGES this year. There will be trivia, a skit with EHS Drama Students, crafts, refreshments, and more. This year we re featuring activities for adults (and kids at heart) including a Horcrux Hunt, Photo Ops, Trivia, English & American wizard house selection, a delicious array of butterbeers, and more!

3 Girls who Code Saturday, October 6-1:00 pm Girls Who Code is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 that is working to close the gender gap in technology. Young women age 8-18 will meet at the library on Saturday afternoons to gain skills in programming, robotics, and web design. Pre-School Mondays & Tuesdays 10:00 am Wednesdays 6:30 pm October 8-10 & We combine all the elements of early childhood literacy into one hour of stories, songs, and activities. Wednesday evening sessions include STARS with Dogs with certified therapy dogs in the Library to encourage young readers to Sit Together And Read to Dogs. Star Party Thursday, October 18 7:00-8:00 pm Presented by the St. Louis Astronomical Society Young and old alike will have fun learning about the night sky and getting to work with telescopes to navigate the stars. Drop in. Storytelling with Google CS and Augmented Reality Saturdays, October 6 2:00 pm Create and share your own digital stories. Use a computer to design your own stories, create and share your own animations, and learn how technology is used for everyday apps and games. Registration is required and limited to ages 8 and up. Participants must be able to read and follow directions with minimal adult assistance.
