4 Entering 4 th Grade- The goal of our summer reading program is to encourage the enjoyment of reading through literature that inspires the imagination of children. It also introduces the children to a variety of authors that will introduce writing techniques that will be launched in the 4 th grade classroom. Summer reading is a time when children can focus on the joy of reading.
