Hostname:Port review configuration notes 4. Database code provided by CKB, when needed 5. Authentication enter user/password, if needed 14

26 Troubleshooting Resources Case One: This Resource Has Never Worked! Do other things from this vendor work? Is your password correct (back door vs front door)? Is IP registration of the MetaLib server required? Did you double-check the IRD? Have you read the Configuration Notes? Try our server-side testing tools (YAZ, MLWP) Contact the vendor, Ex Libris Support 26

27 Troubleshooting Resources Case Two: It Used to Work. It Stopped Working... Has anything else stopped working? Have you recently run a CKB Update? Have you made the necessary manual changes? Has your subscription lapsed? Has your firewall configuration changed? Contact the customer listserv, check in with the vendor, speak to Ex Libris Support 27
