Basic Qualities of Library Staff: The Librarian should try to find out the aptitudes of the prospective employees because unless the Library work suits their proper output service cannot be saved. KASH is the key word to the librarian in order to perform their jobs. KASH stands for K Knowledge A Attitude S Skill H Habit Knowledge: Librarian should have the diversified knowledge to meet their requirements. He / She should have broad knowledge in multi-disciplinary subjects. Habit of nurturing themselves is very important in the competitive environment.
