If the Book Report Project Board is not turned in on the 6 th, a detention will be issued. Instructions: Read the chapter book. Then complete the book reportthinking map after reading your book. All papers on the board must be typed out. Be creative! You may draw the cover page directly onto the board if you like. You may also cut out pictures from a magazine or print out a picture for the cover page portion of the project board. See examples on the next page for inspiration! 3 If there is a book that your child is interested in, that is not on this list, please bring it in to school so that I can approve of it. *Please note, we will be reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis in class toward the end of the year. No one will be allowed to read it for this project. The guidelines for the book report will be given the week of April 7. It will be completed on a project display board (the same size as the science project board), which can be purchased at any school supply store (Staples, Michaels, Target, Walgreens, etc.) The board will be due on Tuesday, May 6 th. Students should get started on reading the book as soon as they find a book they like. You may rent from the library, purchase an E-book or purchase the book from a bookstore or online.
