7 Name Biography Report Rubric Check over your writing. Place a check mark under the student section after you check that area. Then do the same thing with a partner. Leave the teacher section blank. I wrote five paragraphs, each one indented. My first paragraph introduced the topic. My second paragraph told important events in order. My third paragraph talked about an accomplishment and how this person changed the world. My fourth paragraph included a quote and explained why it was important. My fifth paragraph summarized the paper and included what I learned from this person. I checked for spelling, punctuation, and capitalization. My sentences are easy to read and follow grammar rules. 8 Name Biography Project Choices Along with your written report, you must also complete a final project. You must complete three points worth of work from this menu. You may choose one 3-point project or a 1-point and a 2-point project. 3 points 2 points 1 point Dress up as your famous person and give a 2-minute presentation about yourself and your accomplishments. Create a poster to wear with a hole big enough for your head. Design the poster so that it is wearing clothes like your famous person. Prepare a 2-minute presentation. Create a 5-page picture book about your famous person. Your book should be illustrated and colorful. Fill a paper bag with five items that your famous person would have owned. Make the items using craft materials. On an index card, explain why you included these items. Complete the Biography summary page. Create your person using craft materials. Create a scrapbook page of this person s life. Include 3 pictures of this person doing important things. Explain what is happening in each picture.
