Browsing Please fill out the application form (for visitors) at the Service Desk. All of the materials in the library are accessible freely. Please return materials to the bookshelves after you use. < Books > Books are arranged on the shelves by "Call Number" on their spine labels. According to NDC (Nippon Decimal Classification) printed at the first line of the label, books are shelved from left-to-right and top-to-bottom. And when many books have the same Classification Number, they are placed in alphabetical order by the second line of Author's Initial (the first letter or letters of the author's last name). < Journals > Journals are arranged in alphabetical order of the titles. Materials in Laboratories OPAC's Location "Agr " means the material is held in laboratory. ex) Agr Crop Sci etc... If you would like to use the material, please ask the Service Desk. For complying with the Copyright Law of Japan, please fill out the application form for Private Expense at the Service Desk. After your photocopying is complete, please pay your fees at the Accounting Section of the Office on the 1st (ground) floor. And it provides location status information for books, journals, and other library materials. You can access OPAC from off campus. [Books-Bibliography Details] Location Call No. Material ID Status Place where the material is presently shelved. Call No. is like a book's address. It informs where the book is shelved. Each material has its unique number. It is labeled in the form of barcode. Current status of the material. If blank, the material is available. [Journals-Bibliography Details] Inter library Loan By clicking on the number of volume, it is possible to get more information about the state of recent acquisitions and bookbinding. To obtain our library materials by ILL, submit a request through your home library, which is any academic, institutional, or local public library where you have borrowing privileges. 5 Traffic Guide Access by Subway Nagoya Higashiyama Line Bound for Fujigaoka 8stations, 15min. Motoyama Higashiyama Line Meijo Line Clockwise 1station, 2min. Nagoya Daigaku Higashiyama Koen Bound for Fujigaoka 9station, 18min. From Nagoya Station Take the train bound for Fujigaoka on the Higashiyama Line. At Motoyama Station, change to the Meijo Line Clockwise and get off at Nagoya Daigaku Station. And walk 10 min. from Exit No. 2. or Take the train bound for Fujigaoka on the Higashiyama Line and get off at Higashiyama Koen Station. And walk 10 min.* from Exit No.4. * The road from Higashiyama Koen Station to Nagoya University is long uphill.
