2 Inspiring Woman of the Year & Inspiring Man of the Year AWARDS Luxembourg, 6th March 2014, on the occasion of the International Women s Day The Inspiring Woman of the Year & Inspiring Man of the Year Awards play an invaluable role in recognising the vital importance of role models who serve to inspire and influence the younger generation. The Awards offer students and professional women inspiration and motivation by celebrating and highlighting women and men who have achieved significant success and who have inspired their colleagues, collaborators and neighbours with their ideas, their drive and their commitment. The Awards are placed under the patronage of Viviane Reding, Vice - President of the European Commission, responsible for Justice, Fundamental Rights and Citizenship, and of Xavier Bettel, Deputy - Mayor of the City of Luxembourg. The Awards Ceremony represents the biggest event in the Greater Region organised every year on the occasion of the International Women s Day which gathers together 350 business leaders and representatives of the most important associations from Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Germany. The event also includes the 2nd edition of the Village de la Passion at which ten brands dedicated to women and their passions interact and build relationship with the guests at their exhibition stand. In 2013 the Village de la Passion welcomed jitrois, MIM Z, Roederer Champaign, Bijouterie Noel, Georges Lazu Vins roumains, Glamore by Manon H, Languages.lu, Ellipse Wellness & Fitness, Moldova Wines and Inspiring Wo-Men Business Club.
