2 About the Author Gwynne Allyn Warner is the founder of 10,000 Blessings Feng Shui and practices Black Sect Tantric Buddhist Feng Shui as a disciple of Grandmaster Professor Lin Yun. 3 About Feng Shui Every day of your life, 24 hours a day, you are being directly influenced by a huge host of seen and unseen energies in your physical space. These energies are either beneficial--enhancing your health, wealth and happiness; or negative--creating obstacles and misfortune. Feng Shui (which means wind and water and is pronounced fung schway ) is the 3,000 year-old art of placement which teaches you how to adjust and enhance your environment with what we call cures or adjustments. According to the Chinese, there are three kinds of Fortune that influence your life... Heaven luck is pre-ordained as to when and where you were born over which you have no control Human fortune is the luck that you self-perpetuate brought about by your actions as well as the helpful people who surround you. Earth influence is affected by your physical environment. Since it only takes two-thirds of this trinity of fortune to achieve our wishes, consciously enhancing your human & earth luck through the practice of Feng Shui increases your good fortune and decreases the negative influences ( bad luck ) in your life.

4 9 Feng Shui Secrets Secret #1 Activate Your Mouth of Chi All good fortune, health, happiness, prosperity everything! enters your life by coming through the Mouth of Chi ( chi means life force or vitality and is pronounced cheee ) which is the front entrance to your home or office. It is essential that this area be enhanced. Tidy up the Mouth of Chi of your land and home by: Keeping the path approaching your door absolutely free of obstacles and clutter (no recycling bins, dead plants, overgrown hedges or trees that need pruning). The path should gently meander, rather than run in a straight line to your front door. Keep the door-way well illuminated both inside and out (no burnt out light bulbs) Inside and outside the Mouth of Chi should be uplifting and beautiful. Place healthy plants in red pots or red flowers at either side of your front door. Place a cheerful, new and bright door mat. Make certain that your address is clearly visible (so fortune can find you!) and that your doorbell is in working order (so you can hear opportunity calling!) Be sure that your solid wood front door is in good working order no squeaking hinges or scraping the floor--and that the door knob opens easily (for blessings to easily enter your home or office!) Make sure there is no peeling paint. Give your front door a fresh coat of glossy paint--consider a bright red for power, protection or luck; green for health, money and long-life; or black to stimulate your career and cash flow. You can also place an exterior water fountain flowing towards your front door which helps create cash flow (the

5 greater the flow, the better). Make sure the water is visibly pooling rather than disappearing. Make sure your eyes fall on something beautiful when you enter your home, such as fresh flowers or an altar. A bright and sparkling crystal chandelier would also be ideal here. For those of you with attached garages, get into the habit of using your front door and activate that Mouth of Chi! These things may be physical, mental or emotional such as people, situations, habits or clutter. Make a commitment to start dealing with these energy drains (remove, delegate, delete or transform) and free yourself of this stagnation that weighs you down! Remove any mirrors reflecting clutter (so you don t double it!) Remove anything that is untidy or disorganized; anything that instantaneously depletes your energy when you see it or think about dealing with it; and anything that is unused, unloved, unnecessary, broken or expired. Go through your home, yard and office and immediately toss any dead flowers or plants. Change the bed linens frequently; remove newspapers with stories of crime and war immediately after reading; empty the trash and recycle each night so the stale chi isn t accumulating. Open your windows for fresh air for at least ten minutes every day. Afterwards, you may wish to burn chen pi (dried tangerine peel) or temple-grade sandalwood incense to help lift the energy and to clear away tired, depressed or stagnant chi.

6 If you re having cash-flow problems, make sure you clear all clutter related to your finances such as your purse, wallet, client files, cash register and so on. Respect your money by keeping a balanced check-book; filing your statements; and paying your bills on time. Deep clean with non-toxic products enhanced with essential oils I like the Mrs. Meyer s and Method products and imagine you are washing away all illness, toxins and stagnation. Remove all toxic air and water (with filtration systems) and stop using toxic cleaners. Change your bed linens often to avoid accumulating stagnant chi in bed a place where we restore our life-force. Many of the strongest Feng Shui prosperity cures are done in the master bedroom. Make your bedroom as beautiful, warm and luxurious as possible. From a Feng Shui perspective, bedrooms should be used only for resting, sleeping and intimacy, so remove televisions, computers, telephones, work papers, exercise machines and so on. Your bed should be placed in the Command Position which is the furthest corner from the door (without being in the path of the door). Easily viewing the door while lying in bed will help your feel safe and give you the wide view of your life.

7 Your bed should be up off of the floor with nothing underneath it (no clutter!) so that the chi can circulate around your body while you sleep. The headboard should be solid wood (not metal which transmits electricity) without openings or slots so as to give you protection and support, acting like a mountain. Your bed should not have any other previous owners and should be replaced after a divorce or break-up. And no unstable waterbeds! The bed should absolutely be up against a solid wall. Don t sleep beneath a window as your chi will dissipate and you ll feel tired upon awaking. Also, don t place your bed beneath any beams or slanted ceilings which can cause headaches, depression and a sense of oppression or ceiling fans (which can slice your body up energetically and cause health problems). Keep the bathroom and closet doors closed 24/7. Avoid heavy and towering furniture in your bedroom. To support your health, consider adding healthy green plants and hang a 50-mm pure leaded crystal sphere (on 9 increments of red thread) at the center of your bedroom. Spend time in sunlight to re-charge your batteries. Dust all of your light bulbs (and the replace burnt-out ones!) and use the highest wattage possible. Dust your lamp shades or treat yourself to some new ones. Clean all of your mirrors. Also, hang mirrors across from windows (as long as it s a pleasant view!) to double your light. Clean all of your windows.

If you need to purchase leaded crystal spheres please contact me info@10kblessingsfengshui.com Secret #5 Keep your Stove Top Sparkling Clean In Feng Shui, the stove is both a center of health (the fire element is activates chi through the cooking of your food) as well as prosperity (the more burners, the more abundance). Keep your stove very clean or it can make you tired, depressed and difficult to earn money. The cook needs to be able to see the doorway so she or he is not startled--if you can t, place a mirror that reflects behind you so that you are in Command Position as you did with your bed. Give your stove a good scrub and make it sparkling clean. Clean or replace the pan liners and replace any broken parts. Rotate the use of your burners so that they all get activated. Place a mirror (the same width as the width of the stove) behind the burners on the wall to symbolically double the burners (now you have eight!) and your capacity for bringing in wealth. If mirror placement is impossible, you can get some of the same effect by placing shiny pots on the back two burners. Secret #6 Keep your Household Systems in Excellent Working Order The functioning of the plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling systems directly relate to the functioning of your organs, hormones, nervous systems, joints and so on. Therefore, it is essential that they work effortlessly.

9 Fix all leaking faucets, sinks, toilets, pools, hot tubs, sprinklers, sewer pipes and any clogged drains, sinks or toilets or rusted pipes. Clean all of your air-conditioning and heating vents Lubricate your doors. Check your electrical systems and repair broken appliances; frayed wires; broken outlets, sockets and switches; unfinished electrical work; and blown fuses. Secret #7 Conserve your Chi Since physical drains invite the loss of your chi, conserve your energy by: Keeping your bathroom doors closed 24/7 Closing the toilet lids down 24/7, too Covering the sink, shower, tub and washing machine drains Secret #8 Remove all Negative Imagery We are definitely influenced by the imagery around us, so be vigilant about what you see each day. Remove all objects and images that are sad, harmful, violent or negative such as gloomy art work, cremation ashes or guns. Remove all images and metaphors of poverty. If you want to be or are in relationship, remove images of single or lonely people and replace with happy pairs. Make sure that there are no broken or cracked mirrors (and that the head of the tallest person in the home is fully reflected in the mirror) No cactus or spiky plants (which can make people sharp and needling). Keep your knives and scissors hidden in drawers or butcher blocks (so you don t cut away your good fortune). Secret #9 Cultivate & Increase Your Life-force

10 Spend time in Nature each day revel in the rain, wind, forest, ocean or sunlight. Be generous with love-in-action and do One Good Deed Each Day. Receive chi transmissions or energy healings as often as possible--acupuncture is wonderful! Do daily breathing and physical fitness exercises such as qi gong or tai chi. Make sure you get restorative sleep. Take sabbaticals from noise and spend some time in silence. Choose good and uplifting company. Pray, meditate and read scripture or sutras each day. Increase the movement inside and around your home and office by adding live plants, gold fish, wind chimes, prayer flags and bird feeders.
