1 IFSC 2017 Manila 18 & 19 November 2017 Speakers Profiles Grand Master Tan Khoon Yong Way Feng Shui Group, Singapore Born in Singapore, GM Tan Khoon Yong inherited his forefathers expertise at the early age of 30 and established Way Chinese Geomancy Centre (currently known as Way Fengshui Group) in A veteran of feng shui studies, he has been providing excellent feng shui consultancy services for more than three decades. Having conducted more than 1000 seminars worldwide, GM Tan is well-known internationally. Amid his success, he is an avid pupil who continually enhances his practice with research and studies. Since 2004, GM Tan has been representing Singapore in the International Feng Shui Convention (IFSC). In 2008, he received the prestigious title of Feng Shui GM by the International Feng Shui Association (IFSA) and is the first feng shui practitioner in Singapore to be awarded this title. In recognition of his contributions to society, GM Tan received the Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1999 from then Singapore President S.R. Nathan. Grand Master Vincent Koh Singapore Feng Shui Centre GM Koh developed an interest in feng shui during his long successful career in the building industry since Over time, many of his clients began to seek his advice on feng shui audit. After many years of research, and practice in feng shui, in 1997, GM Koh began sharing his knowledge in public seminars and started his teaching in collaboration with department CEC, Singapore Polytechnic in He was awarded Singapore Polytechnic s Continuing Education Award in 2003, 2005 and Currently, all SFSC courses are endorsed by the International Feng Shui Association. Grand Master Raymond Lo Raymond Lo School of Feng Shui and Destiny, Hong Kong GM Lo, popularly known as Fung Shui Lo, is a graduate in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong. His quest for the truth led him to study Chinese Metaphysics. He founded the Raymond Lo School of Feng Shui and Destiny and also taught at the School of Professional and Continual Education at the University of Hong Kong, which conducts training classes world-wide. He is now a world renowned consultant and teacher, specializing in feng shui, the Four Pillars of Destiny and I- Ching Divination, with clients and students from all over the world. GM Lo has appeared on numerous television shows in many countries and has also written several feng shui books in English and Chinese. These books have since been translated into multiple languages, and enjoy world-wide popularity. In 2008, the renowned International Feng Shui Association (IFSA) conferred the title of GM on him for his significant contribution to the industry.

2 Grand Master Dr. Stephen Skinner Golden Hoard, Singapore Dr. Skinner wrote the first English book on feng shui written in the 20th century, the Living Earth Manual of Feng Shui. This book first brought feng shui to the attention of the Western world. In 1998 he launched Feng Shui for Modern Living monthly magazine, whose first issue sold 121,000 copies, more than either Elle Décor or Wallpaper magazines in the UK. This magazine helped popularize feng shui round the world, and was distributed in 41 countries. He even produced a Chinese language edition in Taipei. In 1999 he launched the London International Feng Shui Conference, the largest Feng Shui conference ever held in UK/Europe. In 2004 he was part of the Committee who founded the International Feng Shui Association (IFSA) in Singapore. Stephen has published more than a dozen books on feng shui, including Advanced Flying Star Feng Shui, Guide to the Feng Shui Compass, Feng Shui Before & After, and the beautiful Feng Shui Style. He has also published four translations of feng shui classics: The Water Dragon, The Original Eight Mansions Formula, Key San He Feng Shui Formulas and The Mountain Dragon. In October 2015 the title of Grand Master was conferred on Stephen at the 12th Annual Convention of the IFSA in Shanghai. He is the author of over 46 books, translated into more than 20 different languages. He lives in Singapore, where he researches, writes and does feng shui consultations. Dr Manfred Kubny International Academy for Traditional Chinese Astrology, Berlin Dr. Manfred Kubny is considered Europe s premier expert on the systemic and psychological aspects of Chinese life science and their usage in daily life. He is the director of the International Academy for Traditional Chinese Astrology, the head of ethno-medicine of the Europe-University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder) and research fellow of the Horst-Goertz Foundation in order to investigate the history, theory and practice of Chinese Life Science at the Institute for Therapeutical Communication and Integrative Health Sciences at Steinbeis University, Chapter Berlin. A major focus of his research is the diagnosis of the human personality according to the ancient Chinese system of the Bazi Suanming The Life Calculation by the Eight Characters, also known as the Traditional Chinese Chronobiology and Chronopsychology. More details at Master Janene Laird Master Jacek Kryg Shenchi, Melbourne Master Janene Laird is the principle consultant and founder of Shenchi, an Australian based professional Feng Shui Consultancy. She comes from a background in education and combines a Bachelor of Arts and Diploma of Teaching with nearly two decades of study, practice and experience in the feng shui industry. Janene is President of the International Feng Shui Association (IFSA) - Australia Chapter, which she established in She is also founder and Editor of the online magazine Feng Shui Today and was awarded the title of IFSA Accredited feng shui Master in She commenced formal studies in Chinese Metaphysics in 2003 and was awarded her Advanced Practitioner Diploma from GM Raymond Lo in Whilst living in Singapore in 2009, Janene pursued further studies with GM Vincent Koh and has completed the Certificates of Practice in feng shui, Four Pillars of Destiny and Zi Wei Dou Shu. Since her return to Australia in 2012, Janene has continued her study and practice of Chinese Metaphysics under the guidance of GM Dr. Stephen Skinner and Dr. Chong Jin Peh. School Without Borders, Poland Polish born Master Jacek Kryg specialised in Chinese culture during university, and wrote his MA and postgraduate thesis on Yijing and Its Reflection of Chinese Society and Contemporary Perception of Daoism respectively. He is credited as a pioneer in educating the general public in Poland on I Ching and feng shui during the early 1980s. His frequent travels to the East over two decades (1970s and 1980s) earned him practical knowledge on Chinese and Indian culture, and also led him to tutelage under GM Yap Cheng Hai. His own feng shui school School Without Borders was established in 1998 and offers classes in the field of feng shui, taught personally by Master Kryg himself. Master Kryg ran his own Polish television program Metafizyka Chñska or Chinese Metaphysics, and is also the author of some four hundred publications. 3 Master Yap Boh Chu YCH Academy, Kuala Lumpur Master Yap Boh Chu graduated from the Swinburne Institute of Technology (now Swinburne University), Australia, with double majors in Information Technology and Accounting. Though he devoted his earlier working life to the IT industry, Boh Chu eventually found his true calling in feng shui. Following the footsteps of his world renowned father, GM Yap Cheng Hai, he received and mastered the science and skill passed down by his father. Dr Jin Peh Dr Jin Peh, Dubai Dr. Jin Peh completed his medical training in Perth, Western Australia before studying Broadcasting Journalism. 6 Master Tyler Rowe China Dragon, Melbourne Tyler J Rowe is a classically trained Chinese herbalist, acupuncturist and diplomate of canonical Chinese medicine with the Institute of Classics of East Asian Medicine. He is an International Wushu Federation certified 6th degree master of Chinese martial arts and former national Taijiquan (Taichi) champion.
