This question is the film language question. You will be asked about camera shots, sounds, editing, special effects, mise-en-scene and colour/lighting. Some of the questions carry low scores however ensure you use full and complete sentences as they still need to be detailed and full answers. Example,. (a) Identify one camera shot. This question is based on the features of the genre, looking at themes, settings, costume, representation, relationships and characters. This question is assessing your knowledge and analysis of printed media related to the Superhero genre. You could be asked to analyse a DVD cover, film poster, teaser poster. The question is worth 0 marks therefore requires an extended piece of writing, the 0 marks can be broken up into different sections like the one below and/or one as one question.
