1 ARTI 185 Aesthetics of Architecture, Interiors, and Design Interior Architecture School of Art Spring Quarter M,T,W,TH: 3:10pm 4:00 pm Walter Hall 235 Instructor: Matthew Ziff, Associate Professor Office: Grover Center W325 Office hours: M, T, W, TH: 1:00pm 3:00pm Exam 1 5 April 2012 Taking this exam obligates you to abide by the OU Student Code of Conduct This is to be completed 100% on your own. Each question is worth 2.94 points. All of the test questions are given within the context of this course, so think about what I have said to you, during the past two weeks, in the context of aesthetics, architecture, interiors, and design in general. 1. Monticello, the famous home place of Thomas Jefferson, in Charlottesville, Virginia, is visually quite similar to Walter Hall at Ohio University. Because of this, both buildings are legitimately of historic importance in the development of architecture in the United States. 2. In studying aesthetics within the realm of architecture, interiors, and design in general, all that matters is whether or not you like something, or you do not like something. 3.
