2 Man has shown an innate ability to visually conceptualize its world. Many cave drawings are the oldest recorded pieces that modern man have found so far. Lascaux Cave, France Hall of Bulls 20,000 15,000 BCE
3 Stonehenge Salisbury, England Neolithic BCE 13 6 H Post-and-Lintel Construction Archeologists are still uncovering new discoveries about man s built spaces in the world. With modern technology archeologists have found hundreds of bodies buried at Stonehenge. It is believed to have also served as a time piece and aligns with the Summer Solstice.
4 Even in the 21 st Century, historical artworks are being destroyed due to religious differences or conflicts. These Colossal Buddhas carved into the mountainside are now hollow holes.
