By My Banana has a First Name This book is a fascinating mix of "you are there as it happens" and careful analysis and retrospect of one of the longest running shows on TV. Meticulously researched and masterfully crafted, it is more thrilling, enjoyable and funny than I would have expected from a book about Firing Line. I'm a bleeding heart liberal, but one can't help admire Buckley as observed through the lens of Professor Hendershot.
