Use the next page as a mat if desired! **Note: I omitted But the bear sleeps on. from the sequencing because it happens throughout the book. I prompt my students to say it after sequencing the other events. For example, An itty-bitty mouse creep-crawls in the cave from the fluff-cold snow. But, the bear snores on! Ideas: See the note above! Put velcro on each sequencing box. Give each student a character and as they enter, have the student stick that character on the mat.
