FACTS: ID-release donors decision in 18 years Height: 176 Weight: 70 Hair colour: Brown Eye colour: Blue Blodtype: A Rh pos Occupation: System engineer Read an English version on page 2

2/12 / Meeting the donor our impression Lewis is a cool and funny guy. He has a good sense of humour, and he has a glint in the eye. He is a bit of a bad boy, and he likes to party with his friends in the weekends. But in the weekdays, he has a demanding job as an IT system engineer, and he is very good it as well. You can tell that he is a smart guy. He is very extrovert and talkative, and he always creates a cheerful atmosphere among the staff when he comes by. He has a well-trained body and smiling eyes, and he is an attractive young man. English version of the letter on the front page: I helped your parents make you come to the world. I hope you will make the best of your life. If this message reaches you I know you ll have learned to read. I wish you all the luck and love in the world. PS I hope you appreciate the genes.

Extended profile 3/12 / Appearance Race Caucasian Ethnicity Danish Height 176 cm Weight 70 kg Eye colour Blue Hairvolume (thick, thin, average, bald) Thick Body frame size (small, medium, large) Physique (muscular, regular, heavy) Regular/muscular Which famous person or celebrity do you most resemble? I can t think of any. I guess I m unique. Natural hair colour Brown Clothing size (S,M,L,XL,XXL) M/L Skin type Normal Freckles No Eyebrow colour Brown Beard colour Black/brown Hairtexture (curly, straight, wavy) Straight

4/12 / Health Do you exercise regularly? I love all kinds of sports and exercising, love to challenge myself! When I was a child/teenager I played football with my friends, but after my year at efterskole (a Danish kind of boardingschool) my football team split up. After that I took pleasure in working out, as you are not dependent of others and schedules. On the other hand, you must be a good disciplinarian. People are not built the same and we all respond differently to exercise and diet. Getting to know your own body and pushing it to the limit in different ways is something I like very much. I work out as much as possible and minimum four 4 times a week. Which sports do you play? At the moment, I only work out, but I have considered to start breakdancing again or to start kitesurfing in the weekends. Have you played other sports in the past? If yes, which ones? Since I was a young child I have played football. I also danced breakdance at an early age. Unfortunately, I stopped, however I have breakdanced a little on and off during the years. I have also practiced martial arts (Thai boxing etc.) for a short period. Please describe the condition of your teeth? (good, average, bad) My teeth are in good condition. I see a dentist every six month to make sure they are all right. How many standard drinks do you consume in an average week? It depends, between 5 and 20 drinks a week. If I m single I drink more, as I like to go out in the weekends, and sometimes both Friday and Saturday. If I have a girlfriend I don t go out so much and also drink less. In the weekdays, I rarely drink, as I care about health and exercising. Do you smoke? If yes, what do you smoke and how many a day on average? I smoke 15 cigarettes (Prince Light) a day. Unfortunately, all my friends and I started to smoke at an early age. Do you suffer from allergies? No Glasses or corrective lenses? No. Are you right- or left-handed? I am right-handed.

Extended profile 5/12 / Personality Describe your personality I would describe myself with these words: Extrovert, smiling, happy, open, funny, caring, positive, honest, sensitive and adventurous. I meet everybody with open arms and I think that s why I get along with all kinds of people. It s important to me to enjoy life and to dare to just take a leap into new things end experiences in life. You ll always regret what you didn t do, rather than what you did do - that s my motto. In addition, I value friends and family very much, and I really care about how they are. I m a person who loves to party and have fun, but at the same time I also have a more serious point when it comes to work etc. Describe your weaknesses I regard weaknesses as challenges. Nobody is perfect and we all have weaknesses. Luckily you can often work with your weaknesses and improve them, and I love to develop and improve. One of my weaknesses is that I can sometimes be spineless and can be tempted to do things that put me into awkward situations from time to time. Describe your strengths My strengths are my very good interpersonal skills, and that I can take care of myself. I m able to adapt no matter where I am or who I m with. That gives me the courage to throw myself into life and new adventures. What are you most proud of and why? It makes me proud that I graduated and got a job so quickly. I have been praised for my work several times at a young age. I m good at what I do, and I m the kind of colleague that spread a positive and cheerful atmosphere at the places I have of worked. Describe your fondest childhood memory My parents were never the best of cooks, and in a busy everyday life - where we three kids came home from football training at different times in the evening - they often turned to a very easy and quick supper. My parents would sometimes even make rusks with hot milk for us for supper:-) That is something we joke a lot about in my family today. That is the reason why I was such a skinny boy as a child, I tell my dad :-) Describe some of your best experiences I could write a book about that. I love to travel and I have backpacked with a friend in Thailand for a month, and I have just been travelling alone in Zanzibar for two weeks. These are definitely some of my best experiences so far. Describe your relationship with your family? I have two brothers who I have always loved very much. After our mom was taken ill with sclerosis our ties got even closer. My dad has always been there for me and he means the world to me. He is the kind of dad you can always call when there is nobody else to turn to. My mom has also been the world s best mom. I almost don t remember her being well, as she has been ill for so many years now. Our family bonds are very strong. What does your family mean to you? Everything. My family will always be there for me, and that gives me a feeling of security and safety which means everything. What does friendship mean to you? Everything. My friends are like family to me. We share everything and will do a lot for each other. My friends are the ones I hang out with and do most things together with. I have shared most experiences with my friends. What kind of friend are you? I take care of my friends before I take care of myself. I m the kind of friend you can talk to about feelings, difficulties and also taboos. I m always ready for an adventure so my friends know they can always call me. How would your friends and family describe you? My friends describe me with these words: Kind, funny, complete idiot :-) and cool. My family has never described me, as far as I remember. I guess we don t need to express such things in words, but I know they love me. How are your math skills? Maths were my best subject in school and I ve always found it easy. So, my math skills are above average, I should say. How are your motor skills?. What is your zodiac sign? Aquarius the most boring animal in the world:-) Which famous person or celebrity can you identify yourself with? I like to be unique, so I don t reflect myself in anyone. However, I admire several people with extraordinary skills, for instance musicians, actors, famous athletes and businessmen. What did you dream of becoming as a child? I saw a lot of karate films (especially Bruce Lee) as a child. Bruce Lee was my big idol, so during my childhood I dreamt of becoming a professional martial artist - until I found out that I wasn t as good at it as I imagined I would be.

6/12 / Education and employment Did you do well, average or poorly in primary school? I have never been the best in primary school. I tended to lose focus during class, especially when I became older. At that time, I thought that other things were more important than paying attention in class and doing my homework. However, I got average marks in all subjects in school. What did you like best about going to school? Physical education, the computer room, the breaks, especially the lunch breaks. What educations have you started? I obtained an education to become an IT supporter right after primary school. What educations have you completed? IT supporter education. Did you serve in the military? If yes, for how long and at what rank? No unfortunately, I was busy with my education when it was time to do the military service. Work history? Paper boy, trolley boy in the local co-op, dishwasher in a golf club, IT trainee, IT software tester, IT system engineer. What is your career goal? I have always dreamt of becoming self-employed. I hope I will succeed one day. / Hobbies Favourite movie? Blinkende lygter/flickering Lights (a Danish movie). I like the humour in the movie. Favourite book? I don t read a lot of books. However, The evil by Jan Guillou I think is great. What kind of music do you like? Favourite artists? I have varied taste in music. Rap/hip hop/reggae and electronic/house are my favourite genres. I m also a huge fan of Michael Jackson and all the old Danish classics. Do you play any instruments? Unfortunately no. Creative skills? I think my creative skills find expression in developing IT solutions. Other hobbies, interests or talents? I like playing games, both computer games and board games. What languages do you speak? Danish, English. How do you prefer to travel and why? I look upon life as a backpack, so it s all about filling up the backpack with as many adventures as possible. I love to explore new countries and cultures, and it s my plan to travel all over the world. The traditional package holiday is not for me. Fighting for the deckchairs around the hotel pool and lying in the sun all day reading a very thick book is not my favourite kind of holiday. I have experienced that travelling alone is a quite interesting way to travel, and I would like to do it again.

Extended profile 7/12 / Marital status and children Are you married, in a relationship or single? Single Do you have any children? No Have you or members of your family experienced difficulties when trying to conceive? No If yes, what age and gender? No Are there any twins or triplets in your family? / Why do you want to become a donor? I like to help others, and becoming a donor in my opinion serves a meaningful purpose. So, if I can share a little bit of myself and in that way help others to make their dream come true, it will make me feel very good. I myself dream of travelling around the world, and it would be a great bonus to get a contribution to fulfilling my own dream at the same time.
