2 What happened to the indirect object pronoun? A ME is already replacing the Indirect Object Pronoun MI, so technically we would be saying the same thing twice if we used it in the above replies. The most common and practical answer to the above questions is simply: A me sì A me no Yes, I do (to me yes) No, I don t (to me no) The use of the stressed pronoun again suggests a possible contrast or difference of opinion from the person asking the question.
