Chapter Three Wait you want us to what? You do realize that just because Mark is gay does not mean that I am. Can t we just do some sort of gay pride sort of thing? Look I love Mark but nothing like that. Ouch.Mark tried to stay still and if any more tears fell from his eyes t was because he still thought he was leaving, not because Mark was sad at Jackson s words. No Jackson, if you rejected Mark s feelings then everyone would probably hate you and we can t have that now can we? Look I m killing a lot of birds with one stone. You don t have to do more than what you two already do. I m not asking you to make out in front of millions, I m just saying be friendly, be Markson of Got7. JYP said, and by his tone of voice both boys already knew there was no room for arguing. They were going to have to do this if they wanted to keep their jobs. Mark took this time to finally look over at Jackson and he really wished he didn t because Jackson looked pissed off. Okay you both are dismissed, I ll be contacting your manager with what will happen next. We need to break this to the world gently, it s chaotic out there right now and we need to wade through the waters at a good pace okay? Now go get some rest and Mark, go wipe your face. If you re eyes are puffy tomorrow it ll make things worse. O okay, th thank you so much. I I don t know what to say. Mark began but Jackson cut him of by saying, You ve said enough. Before walking away. Mark, don t worry about Jackson, he ll do what he s told. He always does. JYP said as he moved away. Mark knew the man was right but Jackson also never knew when to keep his mouth shut, but Mark supposed he didn t as well too. The ride back towards the dorm was so different from the one before, this time it was Mark who wanted Jackson to say something, anything. Please say something Jackson. I know you re mad but we need to talk about this, JYP said-

I don t care what he said, I do not want to do this Mark. Do you understand how badly you fucked up? Like did the words register in your mind yet? I have to act gay just to make sure people don t hate me for rejecting you which is what I want to do so very badly. Mark you god I can t even look at you right now. I think it s best if we just stop talking until we get told what to do okay? Jackson said, not waiting for an answer as he put his head phones in and turned his body away from Mark s in the van. O okay. I know you re upset, I ll leave you alone. Mark said but got no response from Jackson. ~ When they arrived back at the dorm Mark didn t know what to expect from the other members. He didn t expect them to just accept him but he also did not expect the cold shoulder the way Jackson was giving it to him. The first thing Jackson did when they got home was jump out the car and head straight for their room, before slamming the door shut. They might share that room but Mark had a feeling he was going to be sleeping on the couch tonight. Taking a deep breath Mark made his way to the living room and found everyone siting, they must have been waiting for him. So what happened? Jaebum said cutting to the chase. As the leader Jaebum knew how hard decisions were ad he supposed they all thought Mark would be leaving as well. You didn t get fired did you? BamBam asked, startling Mark with his voice. Since when had the kid become so grown up? Well he supposed BamBam wasn t a child anymore, after all he finally ditched his cute faze from something sexier as he liked to put it. Mark was proud of BamBam and he hoped BamBam would still look up to Mark even with his major fuck up. I no I m not fired but the alternative isn t that great either. Mark admitted. Well spit it out, what happened? Jaebum said, not sounding angry but impatient. JYP said that he knew making me leave would be worse and playing it off as a joke just wasn t viable so we have to do something else. Well what the hell is it, we ve been waiting for nearly an hour and our phones kept buzzing so much we all shut them off. He wants me and Jackson to - He want s me to give Mark the dick. Jackson said, crossing his arms over his chest as he glared harshly at Mark. When had he gotten there? Youngjae spit his water all over Junior who was too surprised to even voice his disgust at the other boy. Jackson they re a still young ears here! Junior pointed out, having everyone momentarily look at Yugyeom who was grumbling about having a birthday soon. Please Yugyeom get s more ass than any of us. I ve seen him sneak in late at night with a smile on his face. Jackson said and the blush on Yugyeom s face made it almost believable. I don t! I just go for night walks Jackson and what are you doing up that late at night anyway? Yugyeom said, trying to turn the attention away from him. The same thing you re doing but I m not going out for late night walks. Jackson said laughing a bit as he watched everyone roll their eyes. Mark on the other hand did not laugh, is that what his friend did when he was asleep? As Mark dreamt of Jackson the man he loved was busy spending nights with girls whose face s Jackson probably didn t remember. Jackson, that s kind of insensitive and what did you mean when you said, well what you said? JYP wants me and mark to act gay but I d be the only one acting I guess. He said cause Markson is already a thing we should just roll with it, can you believe that? Just cause Mark messed up doesn t mean that I need to suffer too. Jackson said, throwing his hands up. It s not my fault! Mark finally shouted, his voice much louder than he intended it to be. He knew he messed up but he didn t de-

serve to be treated like this did he? You couldn t help who you loved and that s just what happened. Perhaps it was because Jackson was always there or maybe it was because Mark loved how genuine the other boy was. When Mark was worried about anything he knew he could rely on Jackson but it seemed that was coming to an end. I m sorry that I messed up and put everyone in a bad situation but I m not going to apologize for my feelings. I guess I m the actual unlucky one for falling in love with a fucking asshole. Mark said before quickly leaving the room. Everyone else could judge him all they wanted but Mark s heart couldn t be changed. He loved Jackson and that was all there was to it.

Chapter Twenty So how exactly are we going to get passed Kai, I mean he isn t just going to be oh sure go ask the kid why he isn t all bloody. That will work real well I think. Jimin said as he watched Kai walk away. Jimin was great at making Jungkook feel better but sometimes he was a nuisance. No need to state the obvious Jimin, we don t necessarily need to get passed Kai so much as distract him. We only need one person to talk to the student and I don t feel comfortable letting you do it. The only way they would have been able to survive is to be strong, a lot stronger than any student that goes here. I don t want you to say anything that will make him freak out and go on a rampage again. Why I d never! All I d say is something along the lines of, You sure remove blood from your clothes pretty well, what soap do you use! Jimin said laughing hysterically. The boy was clearly on edge and Jungkook didn t blame him. This was a very sticky situation and they needed to handle it perfectly. Okay the plan is distract Kai while I get to the student. Jungkook said as they began to follow Kai and the student at five paces back, just enough vision to see them but not be seen themselves. How exactly am I supposed to distract Kai? He s really in tune to picking up stuff. He ll know when I m lying Jungkook. Jimin said, walking a bit closer to his friend. Jimin was scared but Jungkook knew Jimin was the only one that could do this, there was no other choice. Then don t lie, you want to know about vampires right, well Kai s a pretty impressive vampire. Tell him it s for research. If what you say is general then he won t be able to tell if you re lying or not. Just ask the questions quick to keep him on his feet, then you ll be able to get around his lie detecting abilities. Wow I didn t think anyone could sound more like a text book than my mother. You aren t gonna take her job are you?! Jimin

asked, earning a few glances their way. No Jimin I m not taking her job now hurry up and distract Kai, it s time for us to find out the truth. Jungkook said as he moved a bit faster. Jimin basically jogged up to Kai and nearly bumped into him as he let out a big, Hello class president fancy meeting you here! I just wanted to ask you a few questions, you being the good president we all know you to be and all figured you were the best option. Jungkook watched as Kai smiled awkwardly at Jimin and say, I m really busy but Jimin was quick to cut him off with, It ll only take a minute, basically exactly 60 seconds of your time. Kai seemingly didn t now what to say so he just asked the student to head on off without him and began to speak with Jimin. Good job, Jungkook thought as he hurried after the student. Rounding the corner when they did Jungkook followed them inside of the student president s room and quickly shut the door, startling the student. Hi, you probably don t remember me but I m- I know who you are. You stopped me from killing the humans, Jungkook was it? They said. Well that confidence sure as hell wasn t what Jungkook was expecting. He was expecting fear but it seemed Jungkook was more afraid in this situation. He didn t plan for this. I yea that s me. I just wanted to check in and see how you re doing. I didn t expect you to be back so soon after the incident. Jungkook said, holding his ground. He needed to play this smart; this was his only chance after all. Well, they gave me something for my little appetite problem and now I m all better. Want to see? They said, showing their fangs to Jungkook. They weren t always that large where they? Just what the hell happened in the rest of that video? They shouldn t be talking, let alone standing and yet here he was, healed flesh and all. No I m fine that was all I needed to figure out. Jungkook said, slowly backing away. The familiar ache in his eye was coming back and his stomach felt uneasy. He read that vampires could sense danger and at this moment Jungkook didn t feel like the predator, he felt like the prey. You know Jungkook I really wanted to thank you actually, after all I wouldn t be here if it wasn t for you. They said stepping closer. What do you mean by that? Jungkook asked, nearly tripping over his own feet in an attempt to move away from the student s piercing eyes. Jungkook fell against something solid and turned around quickly in fright, which soon turned, into relief. Hansol as standing their and he looked curious. Ilhoon, Kai s looking for you. He said he to met him in the main office. Hansol said, moving to stand in between Jungkook and Ilhoon. Oh did he, I thought he meant this office. Ilhoon said, before walking around Jungkook. Jungkook didn t miss the beat in the boy s chest as he walked by, Ilhoon had just lied. You alright Jungkook, you look like you ve seen a ghost. Hansol said but Jungkook was quick to say, I m fine. Before rushing out of the room. On his way down the hall he caught a familiar scent and turned to see Jimin. There you are, I ve been looking all over for you and by all over I meant I went to use the bathroom and then went looking for you. I don t car what anyone says, Kai is scary. No one can be that kind, it just isn t natural! Anyway enough about that, how d the thing go with what s his face? Jimin asked, popping a potato chip in his mouth. Ilhoon, his name is Ilhoon and he was waiting for me Waiting for you, what do you mean? Jimin asked but Jungkook s

eyes weren t following him, they were following Kai and Ilhoon walk to the main office. Before entering Ilhoon sent a smile his way that sent shivers down his spine. Just forget it we re gonna be late for class. Jungkook said, throwing his arm over Jimin s shoulder to push the boy forward. Jungkook knew he would have to tell Jimin about what happened but how could he when he didn t understand himself? He needed to put the puzzle together but Jungkook knew he couldn t without all the puzzle pieces. He needed to figure out what he was going to do and fast because Jungkook knew that things were only going to get worse. He just needed to figure out when.

Chapter Twenty Two On the way o the mall Taehyung made small talk with Jimin about embarrassing stories about Jungkook. The man wished this wasn t what they would talk about but he was at least happy that they were talking, even if it did make Jungkook look bad. And then Jungkook dove right into the pond to go get the little girls scarf. You should have seen it. He came out dripping wet, algae clinging to his body as he was holding this bright pink scarf that the girl didn t even need. I mean it was in the middle of spring time but man could she wail. Jimin said, laughing and smiling as he watched Taehyung clutching his stomach at the story. I have a distinct hate for scarves and pink now. Jungkook said as he shook his head in distaste at the memory. He could still taste the disgusting pond water in his mouth when he thought about it. I didn t even say the worst part! When we got home Jungkookie was covered head to toe with letches. It took me almost an hour to get them removed and get him cleaned up! Jimin said, smiling fondly at his boyfriend. Haha, did the letches hurt Jungkookie. Taehyung said, teasing the older man. A little and that s Jungkook to you brat. You better be nice to me or you ll be walking around looking like America s Next Top Goth Jungkook said as he turned the car into the mall parking garage. You wouldn t dare! Taehyung said, placing his hand on his chest in mock-horror. Jimin-ah save me! Taehyung said, giggling when Jimin looked at him with amusement. This would go well, Jungkook thought and it did until Jimin opened his mouth while Taehyung was trying on clothes at did in fact have color on them. My source explained to me how you could get into the party but you aren t going to like it and personally I think it s a terrible idea.

Jimin said, turning around to give Taehyung a thumbs up when the boy stepped out of the dressing room to show them one of the outfits Jimin had picked out. Well what is it, I ll decide if it s do able or not. Jungkook said, preparing himself for the worst. This party was going to be important, that much he knew but what had Jimin so worried? Well he said if you could bring, say a prostitute to the party that s a way to get inside. The prostitute would be the ticket, and you just so happen to have a very prized ticket on your hands. I is there really no other way inside the party. I I know what they do to the hookers they bring to those parties and they aren t pretty. Most of them don t even make it out alive from from what happens to them. Jungkook said, visioning piles of dead bodies on the floor of homes he and his team had broken into to stop Joker sub-groups. He couldn t risk Taehyung like that, he needed another option. Jungkook believe me if there was another way I would tell you but their isn t. I wouldn t want to send Taehyung in there either but, I got the invite list and I found out Shownu is going to be there. Shownu had caused a lot of problems for the police department because he was one of the top weapon masters for the Jokers. Bringing him down would cause a big hit to the Joker s, an opportunity a smart cop wouldn t pass up. Jimin I can t ask Tae to do that, one he s a minor and two the boy s already been through to much. I can t ask him to do it. Ask me to do what? Taehyung asked, holding a handful of clothes that he wanted to keep. The boy spooked both adults and when they looked at him they both had on sad faces. Nothing, it doesn t matter, Jungkook said, I ll find another way. Jungkook told Jimin. Did you pick out everything you wanted? Jungkook asked, turning back to Taehyung. The boy looked up curiously at them but shrugged his shoulders and said, Yea. As they all walked over to register Jimin leaned over to whisper, I know you don t want to hurt the boy but aren t the lives of many more important. You know this is the only way to get to Shownu and if Taehyung is your ticket you need to use it. Taehyung isn t a ticket, he s a child and I refuse to use him like that. Not again, not like that
