4 Food Around the World Everybody loves a good meal, but people don t always like the same food. Let s look at the food different people eat around the world. In Japan, a typical family eats a lot of fish. The Shu family s favourite types of food are sashimi (uncooked fish) and fruit. Fish and fruit are very healthy, but the Shus also love cakes and crisps! Most families in Italy eat a lot of pasta. They also eat delicious bread, vegetables and fruit. The Rossi family eats all of these things, but they like hamburgers, too! The Ahmed family in Egypt eats many kinds of vegetables and meat. They eat rice and bananas too. They try to eat healthy food. The Henderson family from the USA eats a lot of cereal and eggs for breakfast. They also love beef, potatoes and salad.
