After graduating high school he started studying at university and earned a degree in Physical Education and Sports Science. He has also completed a scholarship in London. After graduating university he found various jobs within his chosen field. He has among other things worked as a fitness trainer, a personal trainer, and as a combat sports and weightlifting coach. He also volunteers at a dog shelter. His native language is Spanish, and he speaks English, German, Italian and Portugese as well. He has not served in the military. I earned a degree in Physical Education and have worked within that field ever since.

Describe your strong sides: When there is a negotiation I try to get all the parties involved to win. I think of others. I am communicative. I am very loyal and I maintain a strict ethical and moral code in everything I do. Describe your weak sides: Sometimes I think more with my heart than with my head. Slow to make decisions, I procrastinate. Being such a perfectionist in one job causes me to delay in others. What is your marital status? Umarried. Do you have any children? No. List any other hobbies you may have or have had: Drawing and reading. List which musical instruments you play or have played: Learning to play an instrument is still pending in my life. Describe the best holiday you have had: The best holiday I have ever had was in Miami. I can identify with the weather a lot and I made great friends there. The reality of the streets of Miami surpasses the fiction of the cinema. The other great holiday of my life and one of the happiest moments of my life was touring the streets of Paris by bicycle. What do you like the most about your own country? What I like about my country is the weather and that you can have a great quality of life with little money. The nature, enjoying a walk and the beach are free and belongs to everyone on the planet.

3 Q&A with JOSUE - continued JOSUE s dreams, favourites and experiences Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? One of my great idols is Bruce Lee, not only for his films but for his philosophy of life. I look at the philosophy of life of my idols a lot, not just what they are known for in the media. Another of my great idols is a writer from the Canary Islands called Victor Ramirez. Sylvester Stallone and the action movie actors of the 80s. In general I also admire paralympic athletes. What are your goals in life? My big goal is to set up my own training centre and that my work is a way to enjoy life and not a means to an end. And above all to never stop travelling. To enjoy myself and the people who pass through my life and to always do the best for them and be happy. Greatest sorrow: Breaking up with my girlfriend and my dog s car accident. What is your favourite colour? Yellow. I don t know why. Perhaps because it has always caught my attention since I was a child. I always used to paint my pictures in this colour. And that was before the Simpsons existed. What is your favourite animal? Horse. Westerns are one of my great passions. What were your childhood dreams? When I was a child I used to dream a lot about cartoons. Which values do you rank the highest? A sense of humour and positivity. Which childhood experience made the biggest impression on you? The childhood experience that impacted me the most was when I had an accident as a child and I saw my grandfather save me because he ran very fast to where I was. Which was your greatest experience or moment? The birth of my nephew. Happiest: Adopting my dog. What is your favourite kind of food? Meat. Because as well as being tasty it is healthy if eaten in moderation. Also gofio. What is your favourite kind of music? 80s rock. It reminds me a lot of my childhood and action films. Honestly, I have not personally met anyone who has had the opportunity to benefit from a donation, but I have heard about people who have done so, and I feel very empathetic towards this.
