13 paula Moderator Posted - 15/05/2008 : 00:12:27 oh..ps.master, Another fabulous job cleaning up these photos. They look beautiful thank you paula x 5012 Posts Posted - 15/05/2008 : 00:24:33 Oh Paula!!!!! Thanks ever so much for posting that cover - I absolutely ADORE that song; it's been in my head and on my lips for the last couple of weeks, but I have never before seen the cover for it :) :) :) And I didn't realise it was Dusty and Tom rather than the threesome, who sang it. And thank you for your kind words re the pics - but honestly, when it's Dusty, you can't really go wrong - well, except by slapping a bloody great logo or three across her face, of course!but don't you think that photograph of Dusty at the flower stall is just so absolutely ravishing? I realised something earlier this evening which I hadn't given thought to before now - most of my favourite pics of Dusty are that 'Mod Queen' look, although I also love the sheer elegance of the full length 'on-stage' type portraits of her. paula Moderator Posted - 15/05/2008 : 02:25:09 glad you like it..as do I. I love all the songs Dusty sang that are really hard to categorize..not quite pop or rock or soul..just sweet, pleasing tunes that grow on you...referring to the 'Dusty Bible',"Morning Please Don't Come" was written by Tom S. in well after 'The Springfields. It was released on Tom's "Love's Philosophy"..described as " a gentle, Latin-flavoured ballad with guitar and strings plus superbly relaxed vocals and harmonies from Tom & Dusty....and I do love Dusty at the flower stall....the touch up you have done on the photos almost give them a 3-dimensional dustyspringfield.info/ /topic.asp?to 13/32
