The next morning, we were up early for our trip to the museum. On the way, I saw many tall buildings, shopping centres, hotels, office towers, and schools. I asked, Uncle Ali, when will I see the lights? He chuckled, Soon my nephew, soon. The museum was filled with a great collection of old maps, artefacts, and very old musical instruments. As we walked through the museum, I began to feel as if I were going back to the past. The old maps jumped at me and begged me to learn more about my heritage. I did not even notice how long we had been there until my uncle said it was time to go home. On our way back to Uncle Ali s house, I finally got to see the lights. It seemed that the entire city was sparkling like the stars. I could never have imagined such a beautiful sight. uildings were filled with lights, and everywhere I looked, city stars were shining at me. I stayed with Uncle Ali for three more days, and then had to return home. 7 Abu Dhabi ricket Tournament a Success Abu Dhabi The city-wide cricket tournament sponsored by the Abu Dhabi ricket ouncil was a huge success. Teams from all over the city were represented in the tournament. The cricketers of the winning team, the Fighting Lions, displayed accuracy and determination as they won 172 for 2 in 20 overs. The second place team, the Soaring Falcons, had a score of 164 for 9 in 25 overs. The five-day event brought in a total of 20 teams and many devoted cricket fans. Shihab Abdul-Matif of the Fighting Lions played the lead role with a superior batting performance. The ricket ouncil gave the All-Rounder Award to Ishaq Fathi for excelling in batting and bowling. He played a fine innings, said the coach of the Fighting Lions.
