Leave, Mr. Keating. Mr. Keating hesitates at the back of the classroom and slowly turns and (C)[head / heads] to the door. As Mr. Keating opens the door, Todd stands on top of his desk and turns to Mr. Keating. Todd: O Captain! My Captain! Mr. Nolan: Sit down, Mr. Anderson! Mr. Keating pauses at the door and looks back at Todd on his desk. Mr. Nolan: Do you hear me? Sit down! Sit down! This is your final warning, Anderson. How dare you? Do you hear me? After a moment, Pitts climbs up onto his desk. Pitts: O Captain! My Captain! Mr. Nolan: I warn you! Sit down! Meeks climbs up on top of his desk, follow several others. Mr. Nolan: Sit down! Sit down, all of you. I want you (D)[seat / seated]. Sit down. Leave, Mr. Keating. More students stand on their desks until half the class is standing. Mr. Keating looks at the boys wonder. A smile comes to his face. Mr. Keating: Thank you, boys. Thank you
