1 WAZZ-UP? What is the Wazz Up newspaper? Is it a news paper you never recognize anyone in? Is the 0% chance you ll ever see your own face? Is it crammed with little words you just don t understand? I hope this helped all you wondering kids the answer ultimate question: To eat? Or not to eat? Exams Throughout the school, students have been doing exams. Some students think it's very hard while others think it's easy. "I thought it would be really hard at first, and I thought I was going to fail, but when we actually did them, I realized, hey, this is pretty easy!!!" says grade 6er Bianca Rodrigves. Bianca thinks that sometimes trying new things isn't that bad. If there's a subject that wasn't as great overall, as the rest, why are we doing them? The school board sends the teachers to a place where they can learn to teach in a way that the students would understand the subject better. "Part of the exams that I don t like, is seeing all the students get really nervous and stressed, but then seeing them relax and calm down when they realize the exams aren't really that hard. Reports gr. 5/6 teacher Ms. Joliffe. Ms. Joliffe also likes finding out what the theme is for her class each year. This year, it was about looking deep into character- who lies within? Hope you re
3 having a good exam! French play On April 24th, Mrs.Picards cycle 3.2 French class put on four French plays for some of the school. The plays were La Coquerelle et la Souri, les trois fou, Chaperon Rouge et le Loup fou, et le chef invisible. Some grade 2 viewer s said they were all funny, but the first one was my favorite, la Coquerelle et la souri" An actor, To Davidson, said "it was fun because we got to miss class and I like to act" The most importantly, the entire grade six did a marvelous job doing the plays. By Nilan McIntosh Soft ball The grade 6 kids at Chelsea Elementary School are very excited because of the new try outs for the softball team on May 1 st. A lot of kids are practicing for this event including me. This team will be run by one of are excellent teacher, Mrs. Picard. We have asked her questions on why she wanted to be the coach for this year. Here are some of her answers. First of all she played softball for 22 years; she started at the age of 3 and stopped at age 25. She has also been coaching this school for 6 years. She thinks we win so often because of our cooperation. I think she will be a wonderful coach says Neal Fahey a grade 5 student the grade sixes will be real lucky. I am going to go try out for the soft ball team exclaimed Becky a grade 6 student. By: Samuel place
