They might look like normal kids and they might do normal kid things: they go to school, they play in the park, and they live in a house But Ben and Brenda aren t normal kids at all they have superpowers! Ben has the superpower of speed. When he wants, he can move faster than a race car! Nobody is faster than Ben; he is the fastest person in the whole world. Ben also has the superpower of flight. When he wants, he can fly like a bird through the air! Brenda has the superpower of strength. When she wants, she can lift anything, even a bus! Nobody is stronger than Brenda; she is the strongest person in the whole world. Brenda also has the superpower of invisibility. When she wants, she can disappear into thin air like a ghost. In the city where Ben and Brenda live there is a stinky villain bothering everyone. He has been in the newspaper because nobody, not even the police can stop him. His name is Farting Fred. Fred eats lots of beans so that he can fart, fart, and fart some more! Fred: Beans, beans they re good for your heart! The more you eat the more you fart! 4 The smell of his farts is so horrible that his victims pass out from the smell! Fred: Hey little girl! Pull my finger! Little Girl: Okay! Fred: Pffffttttt! Hahahaha! One day Ben and Brenda were looking at the newspaper when they decided that they must do something to stop Farting Fred. Newscaster: Farting Fred Farts Again! Last night the nasty smelling villain Farting Fred went to the cinema and farted so much that all of the people in the cinema passed out from the smell. Ben: That Fred is becoming a real problem! Brenda: I think we re going to have to stop him! Later that day, Ben and Brenda were on the tube when all of sudden Farting Fred got on! Brenda: Psst! Psst! Ben! Look, look! It s Farting Fred! Ben: Uh-oh! We better get ready; we might have to use our powers! Brenda: But what can we do when he farts? Ben: We don t have much time why don t you turn invisible and pick him up, and then I ll use my speed to quickly open the window Brenda: and then I ll stick his bottom out the window and nobody will smell his fart! 5 Ben: He s getting ready to fart Farting Fred: Ha ha! It s going to get really stinky in here very soon!! Brenda: Ready? Steady? Go! Ben: We stopped him that time and he didn t even know it was us! Brenda: Yes, but we ve got to come up with a plan to stop Fred from farting forever. Later at home Brenda: What can we do to stop Fred from farting forever? Ben: How about we get rid of all his beans? Brenda: Or we could get rid of ALL of the beans in the WHOLE WORLD! Ben: Then he could never, ever fart again! Brenda: Ok, so how can we do it? How can we get rid of all the beans in the world? Ben: Well, let s make a plan! So, Ben and Brenda made a plan Later that night Ben used his super speed and flew all around the world stealing all of the beans he could find. Ben: Wow, there really are a lot of beans in the world! Brenda used her invisibility and went into Fred s house while he slept And stole all of his beans. Brenda: You won t be eating beans anymore Fred! 9 She is a sneaky girl who picks her nose and uses her very sticky bogeys to trap people while she steals their money. Nicky: I m a nose picker baby, ooooh! I pick it morning, noon, and night, when? Morning, noon, and night. I pick it on the left side and move it on over to the right! Nose picker, nose, nose picker! Nicky: Hey now, that looks like a good shop to rob! Nicky enters the corner shop and quickly flings a blob of bogeys onto the cashier. Cashier: Ewww! Ahhh! Help! Nicky: I m going to take all of your money and there is nothing you can do about it! Hee, hee, hee! Customer: Hey! You can t do that! Stop! Nicky flicks a big sticky bogey at his feet and the customer stops, stuck in Nicky s snot. Nicky: Not so fast! I m a nose picker! You can t stop me! Customer: Ah! I m stuck! Yuck! You are disgusting! That day Nicky robbed 10 different shops. Nicky: Before you know it, my bogeys will have made me a millionaire! That night Ben and Brenda were watching the news with their parents. Newscaster: Today there were ten robberies in local shops. The thief Nicky the Nose Picker has a strange way of robbing her victims she uses her very large and very sticky bogeys! The police have followed her sticky trail of bogeys, but the problem is they just keep getting stuck! Dad: That is terrible! Ten robberies in one day! Mum: Somebody needs to stop that nasty lady! 10 Ben and Brenda: Yes, somebody needs to stop Nose-Picking Nicky! Later, Ben and Brenda decide they must stop Nicky the Nose Picker. Brenda: We must stop Nicky! Ben: Yes, what a nasty way to steal money, yuck! Brenda: How are we going to stop her? I sure don t want to get covered in bogeys! Ben: Well first we have to find her at her next robbery Brenda: Nicky leaves a trail of snot wherever she goes so we just have to follow the trail Ben: But what are we going to do when we find her? Brenda: Why don t you use your super speed and flight to fly around and distract her, since you are super-fast, she ll never be able to trap you with her bogeys. Ben: Ok, I can do that! Brenda: And then I can turn invisible and use my super strength to free whoever she has captured! Ben: Then, I ll call the police so that they can arrest her. Brenda: Great! Now we have our plan! Ben: Tomorrow we just have to find Nicky! Brenda: Don t worry Ben; I m sure we will find her! The next day, Ben and Brenda were walking around the city looking for snot and bogeys from Nicky the Nose Picker. Ben: Oh wow, I bet she s going to rob the bank! Brenda: Ok, remember the plan? Ben: I ll distract her and you set her victims free! Brenda: Right! Ready, steady, go! Ben: Quick Brenda! Grab her hands so she can t pick her nose anymore! Brenda: I ve got you Nicky! You aren t going to steal any money today! Nicky: Hey! Let me go! Ben: I ve called the police, they re on their way! Police: Nicky the Nose Picker you are under arrest! Police chief: Thank you Ben and Brenda! You have saved the day! Nobody could stop Nicky the Nose Picker! Ben: No problem! Brenda: Whenever you need help, you can count on us! Police chief: That s good to know! The next day at home Mum and Dad: Ben, Brenda, we are so proud of you! You are heroes! B&B: Thanks Mum and Dad! Not only is Burping Bob s habit annoying but he uses it to ruin special events in the city. Last month he ruined a school play Bob: BORING! This should make things more interesting hahaha! 21 But compared to the latest villain that has come to town, Fred, Nicky and Bob were a small problem. The latest villain is a big problem. A very, very, very big problem. Her name is Tina Tantrum. Tina is a giant with a temper. Don t ever make fun of what a giant Tina is or she will have a tantrum. Boy: Look, look a giant! She s so big! Girl: Haha! You re a giant, a giant! Tina was becoming a real problem, whenever she gets angry, she has a fit and the city was getting destroyed. One day, Ben and Brenda were at school playing in the playground when all of a sudden they felt the ground begin to shake and shake Then they heard a police siren And a police car pulled right up to the playground. Police Chief: She wanted a new dress and went to the clothes shop to buy one when they didn t have one in her size and the shop assistant told her they didn t make dresses for giants Well, she threw a tantrum. Brenda: Poor Tina, it must be hard being so big. Police Chief: Yes, but she has got to learn to control her temper, she has already made the clothes shop collapse! Ben: How can we stop her? Hmmmm I wonder if you re strong enough to hold her legs down Brenda: I think I can, but not for long What if you fly and get a very big rope off a ship in the harbour? Then you can come and fly around her and tie her up. Ben: Yeah I can do that! Brenda: And I will have to turn invisible or else she will see me! Ben: Ok, I m going to go to the harbour now!
