2 About the Theatre Capacity 2,711 The Arena Theatre is one of Houston s oldest and most successful concert venues. Hosting many legendary artists such as Willie Nelson, BB King, Tom Jones, Jenny Rivera, Julio Iglesias and Aretha Franklin, the theatre provides an enclosed, intimate atmosphere unlike any other. With its in-the-round stage, even last row patrons are only sixty feet from the entertainment. The Arena Theatre customers are also able to enjoy four, fullservice, inside bars without missing a beat. In addition, the enclosed and secure parking ensures that even bad weather can t dampen the spirit of the Theatre s concertgoers. The Arena Theatre has been bringing in mainstream entertainers since the 70s. Its round revolving stage allows audience members a degree of intimacy with the performers unavailable in a traditional arrangement. The Arena recently received a substantial facelift under new ownership. Upgrades include new sound and lighting systems and an ambitious booking approach that has brought some of the best national and international pop, country and jazz talents to Houston. Any background drapes or banners must be held by metal piping. The Sponsor must supply table, chairs, drapes, banners and metal piping as well as any materials needed for placement. Exhibition areas are located in the hall outside the lobby area at box office entrance. There are 2 areas inside the lobby THAT MAY be available for Gold Package sponsors, however, these are reserved for artist merchandise and any national sponsors. If not in use, they will be made available to the first two Gold Package sponsors of the event. One 4 x 3 banner on window facing hall outside box office lobby entrance.
