Duing the couse of the audition pocess we wi ask you to do things that may be new o may seem diffeent fom the way you ve eaned them peviousy pease be fexibe and keep an open mind. You wi find that thee ae mutipe ways to pay, and many of them can be consideed coect. We simpy ask that you do you best to ean ou way, so that we can do things as a team. Many peope ask what is equied to make the ine - the answe is to have a geat attitude, wok had, and aways do you best. Duing the couse of the fist weekend you wi pay individuay, with the section you e auditioning fo, and with the ine as a whoe. We typicay have moe peope audition than we have instuments fo. Fo this eason we ask that you have a fist choice and a second choice of instuments to audition on. We wi do ou best to hono fist equests, but the main pioity is to pace peope whee we can utiize thei stengths. Incuded in this packet ae audition execises and music. Pease ean this music befoe coming to camp; we wi use it to teach technique, dumming concepts, etc. Regadess of how easy o had the music ooks, you shoud emphasize accuate paying. This means coect heights, coect pitches, accuate note pacement, exact didde intepetation, steady tempo (pactice with a metonome), sound quaity, and consistency.
