1 Auditions Week Schedule: Monday, August 27th: Acting Workshop! 3-4:30pm. Students will be teaching acting tips, getting into character, projection, and more. This is optional. Auditorium. Tuesday, August 28th: Reading Auditions, Day One 3-5PM. Auditorium. Wednesday, August 29th: Reading Auditions, Day Two 3-5PM. Auditorium. Thursday, August 30th: Call Backs for those selected. 3-5PM. Auditorium. Friday, August 31st: Cast-List goes up in the afternoon on the auditorium doors and our social media sites. The Week of September 3rd : First week of rehearsals if you made the final list. Rehearsals will begin TUESDAY, as we have NO SCHOOL MONDAY 9/3. Soft Tech Week: October 29th-Nov 2nd Tech Week: November 5th-8th (Whatever day we do preview this week we will NOT have rehearsal). Shows: Thursday November 8th: Planned Preview/Panoramic during the school day. Panoramic will be scheduled the week of tech week OR before show SAT or SUN. TBA. Shows: Fri/Sat November 9th-10th at 7PM. Sun November 11 th at 3PM. You MUST be available for soft tech week, tech week, and show dates in order to be casted. For auditions, you will choose two characters included in this packet to perform from the show. They DO NOT have to be memorized, that is optional on your part. If there is a specific role you are interested in, you should choose the audition piece that corresponds with that role. Please do not get offended if we cut you off midway through your audition. This is not a reflection on you, but we have probably seen what we have needed to see, or we have to see everyone for time constraints. Also be aware your audition does not just exist on stage. What your attitude is like out in the audience also plays a part in the casting process. If you plan on auditioning BOTH days (Mon&Tue), please keep in mind those that have not had their turn take top priority.

2 You MUST have your application filled out and signed by parent/guardian to audition. No form=no audition. The call back list will be posted Thursday morning on the auditorium doors. Please make sure you DO NOT schedule anything after school Thursday in the event you are called back. Also, this does not automatically mean you are cast in the show, and just because you didn t receive a call-back does not mean you didn t get into the show. EVERYONE should always check the final list that comes out on Friday. If you are interested in joining a crew in the event you don t make the show, please make that clear on your application and check the crew list for your next meeting. If you make the show your next rehearsal date will be on the final cast list. You will be expected to bring a pencil to EVERY rehearsal. (If casted, or added to a crew, it is a good idea to sign-up for a Facebook account (if you don t already have one) as we will communicate with you primarily through this site. You will be added to this group once auditions have ended). We also understand the school s extra-curricular policy that, among other things, dismisses a student from a role for alcohol and drug use, as well as failing more than 2 out of their 7 courses.
