Learn the basics of stage geography and vocal techniques by creating emotions and believable characters on stage. These fun and creative sessions are perfect for improving drama skills, confidence and creativity. Youth T heat re (Ages 12+) Tuesdays 5pm-7pm Spring Term from 10th January Summer Term from 25th April (No lessons in half term) To pay per term, please ring the box office Improve your performance skills, vocal techniques and enhance your knowledge of theatrical practices. Meeting weekly, you will work towards creating an end of term showcase to be performed in the theatre to close family and friends. In addition there will be lots of audition opportunities and a trip to one of our theatre performances. Come and be a part of it!

Suitable for those with or without previous experience, tutoring is offered in a variety of creative mediums. This session teaches basic dance routines using simple movements. These sessions are led by an experienced tutor from Dancefest. This fun class encourages development and confidence in the early years, with plenty of play and imaginative movement.

AC Academy Choir Mondays 4:30pm-5:30pm Spring Term from 9th January Summer Term from 24th April Armonico Consort, the acclaimed Midland-based choir and orchestra, reaches 15,000 children each year through AC academy, it s creative learning programme. 6 What s On February Half-Term Junior Musical Theatre Masterclass with Andy Reiss Sunday 19th February & Monday 20th February :30am 4.30pm (Ages 8 16yrs) 60 per participant for the 2 days (Inclusive of 12% booking fee) Back by popular demand, Andy Reiss, Director, Musical Director and Vocalist of the acclaimed Beyond The Barricade Company will lead a two-day Junior Masterclass in Musical Theatre for 8 16year olds. Andy has directed and performed in much loved musicals including Les Miserables, Evita, Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde & Chess and has directed our Malvern Theatres Young Company for the past five years. 21st February 2017 (Meet and Greet after the performance) 2pm Children 14 (Inclusive of 12% booking fee) So you think you know about Dinosaurs? Come and test your knowledge against Ben Garrod (the TV scientist in Attenborough and the Giant Dinosaur ). With the help of TV film footage and photos of his own palaeontological dinosaur digs, he will tell you everything you ever wanted to know about dinosaurs and more. Film Making Workshop - Reel Access 23rd Feb: Introduction to Film Making / 24th Feb: Stop Frame Animation (10am - 3:30pm on both days) Suitable for 8-15yrs 30 per day or 50 for both days (Inclusive of 12% booking fee) Reel Access is a Birmingham based film education and training organisation and are back for a fourth year with their fantastic film making workshops. Come along and learn the skills and techniques to create your own film. You are welcome to bring your own equipment or props to work with.

Relaxed performances are specifically tailored for people who find regular performance settings challenging. If you have someone in your care that has complex needs, and finds a busy socially restrained environment difficult, then this performance will benefit you. The auditorium will have ambient lighting and reassuring support from our theatre staff giving you a more comfortable theatre experience. The actors appreciate and understand that audience members are free to move around during the performance.
