1 ORDINANCE NO. O AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 6, ENTITLED MOTOR VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF FOREST PARK WHEREAS, in the opinion of a majority of the corporate authorities of the Village of Forest Park (the Village ), it is advisable, necessary and in the public interest that the Village amend its Municipal Code with respect to the regulation of municipal parking lots and permit parking lots for parking of motor vehicles within the Village. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Village Council of the Village of Forest Park, Cook County, Illinois: Section 1: The facts and statements contained in the preamble clauses to this Ordinance are found to be true and correct and are hereby adopted as part of this Ordinance. Section 2: Section 6-5-9, entitled Municipal Parking Lots, of Chapter 5, entitled Traffic Schedules, of Title 6, entitled Motor Vehicles and Traffic, as amended, is hereby deleted, in its entirety, and in lieu thereof to read as follows: 6-5-9: MUNICIPAL PARKING LOTS: Parking in the following municipal parking lots, certain village streets designated hereinafter shall be regulated in the manner designated as follows: MUNICIPAL LOTS Regulated By: Lot No. Location Meters Permits Collection System 1 Beloit, south of Madison, west X X 1 Ferdinand, south of Madison, east X X 2 Beloit, south of Madison, east X X

The village of Forest Park hereby determines that 10 metered parking spaces within municipal parking lot 17 shall be designated, with appropriate signage, to be restricted to use only by patrons of the Forest Park Library during the hours of 10:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, and 10:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M., Saturday and Sunday.
