3 Film Synopsis: November Lies is a film about Damon, a family man with a promising career; but with an equally dark secret. Damon hides behind a web of lies and cannot show his true self to his family, his friends, or his co-workers without his whole world crashing down around him. Unknown to him there is someone close to him that knows of Damon s dark secrets and is pulling the strings that will ultimately unravel his web of lies and show the world what really lies beneath. November Lies takes an intimate and real look at addictive and compulsive behavior through the lens of everyday suburbia. The film asks the questions: What is normal? What is real? What is moral? Ultimately, the story comes to a climax requiring Damon to make a choice as to how he wishes to live his life and be remembered. November Lies is currently in its pre-production stage. Principle photography is scheduled to begin on March 10, Filming will take place predominately in New York City and various scenes to be filmed in New Jersey. Director s Statement NOVEMBER LIES is a story that is very personal and represents many long hours of reflection and questioning of events in my own life and that of my family, both immediate and extended, Lanier said. In bringing this story to the screen, I hope and believe that viewers will find something that resonates with them at some level; that they will take something from the struggles that Damon, [his wife] Nikki and the other characters endure through the story. Most of all I hope that they will recognize that we must face our inner demons before we can know that we are truly in control of our own destinies.
