1 O Fallon Connections Tourism & Festivals Department FOUNDERS DAY The City of O Fallon offers connection opportunities with businesses to help cross promote the business and assist with decreasing the overall costs of the event. This allows the City of O Fallon to offer a wide variety of FREE or reduced cost events to the community. We strive to offer fresh ideas and entertainment to events. Events range from 1, ,000 people in attendance. A majority of our events target families in the O Fallon, St. Charles, Lincoln, and Warren County area. The larger events reach into the bi-state area. The city website has over 775,000 page views, the Heritage & Freedom Fest website has over 140,000 page views, Facebook followers, Twitter followers, and 45,000 publictions the O Fallon Residental Newsletter. We realize that our proposed options may not be a perfect fit for your company but we are open to discussing customizable options to fit the needs of your business. 1

2 Attendance 1,500 O Fallon s newest festival will turn O Fallon Sports Park into a winter playground! Enter zany competitions, go skating on an artificial ice skating rink, play field broomball, and enjoy tasty festival food & beverages. Warm up to the sounds of steel drums provided by Palm Duo and be amazed by the strolling entertainment of the Hockey Circus Guy! Free activities include Fruit Cake Chuckin, Snowshoe Obstacle Course, Snowflake Toss, Freeze Your Buns trivia run, dog sled races, and kid s area with the Snowflake Lady. Zumwalt Park takes a walk back in time for the day. Attractions include demonstrations of early American Skills such as basket-weaving, rope-making, candle making, indigo dying, beekeeping, blacksmithing, and much more. Kids can try their hands at soap carving, corn husk doll-making, milking a cow and playing checkers. Concessions and handmade merchandise is available for purchase. 3 Attendance 10,000 + Free outdoor summer concert series featuring bands from rock n roll, country, blues, and everything in between. Every Tuesday at the Civic Park Bandstand, 6:30-9 p.m. Admission and parking are free. Food trucks on site to serve up tasty treats. Dance the night away on Civic Park Drive during the Street Dance, festival style food and drink available. The following day opens with the 5K &10K run, then the festival grounds open to live entertainment, side shows, craft, and food vendors. **See attached sheet for sponsorship opportunities. Attendance 10,000 + A million twinkling lights and holiday related scenes around every corner transforms Ft. Zumwalt Park into a winter wonderland. See the light by car, segways, carriage, sleigh hayrides, and train rides. This display is open the end of November through the month of December. The second Tuesday of December host the Old Fashioned Holiday Stroll hosting over 5,000 people walking through the park while listening to holiday choirs, partaking in food and beverage, and don t forget about the fireworks! **See attached sheet for sponsorship opportunities.
