2 GLT Management Committee CHAIR: jan durban VICE-CHAIR BUSINESS: Bill Grosch VICE-CHAIR PRODUCTION: Patsy McCleery VICE-CHAIR COMMUNICATION: Gilberta Patrick TREASURER: Megan Murphy SECRETARY: Stephanie Azevedo From the Chair We are off and running with a great start to the season. The Volunteer BBQ was well attended and good fun was had by all. Thank you to Pat Harmer and her assistants: Patsy McCleery, Dave Mac- Millan, and Robin Bennett for grill work with elegance. Maybe next year we can get the scavenger hunt up and running. The kids are meeting on Saturdays, YAPAP (youth group) starts this week and Angie Mason's play workshop is up and running. Rehearsals are underway for Kindergarten and Ethan Claymore. Thursday night Pub Nights are open to everyone. Come and have a pint with your theatre friends. John Resendes and Bill Grosch are very welcoming. The Executive is working hard to keep things on an even keel. We are open to suggestions and concerns from the membership. Please, if you have something to say, say it to us. Come to meetings or talk to us at pub nights. We are trying to run this organization for everyone's benefit. Fundraising efforts are continuing. We have auditorium seats for sale at $250 each. We welcome sponsors for shows and have advertising space available in the programmes. Please think how you can contribute. 5 JACK E. AWARDS Saturday, September 27, 2007 The 74th season of Galt Little Theatre was celebrated in fine fashion with the presentation of the Jack E. The evening was hosted by Steve Robinson which included award presentations and hilarious highlights from the previous season. This was a special triple-threat evening for Galt Little Theatre. It s the 75th anniversary of Galt Little Theatre, 25th anniversary of the Cambridge Arts Theatre and 20th anniversary of the Jack E. Awards. Kudos to the 75th anniversary committee members (Kay Mattear, Roy Schreiber, Stephanie Azevedo, and Pauline Faul) for putting together a fun and elegant evening with it s Black and White themed gala. The season productions included Murdered to Death, Dear Santa, As Bees in Honey Drown, and Les Liaisons Dangereuses.
