4 Sadler s Wells: the Main Auditorium Playing host to some of the world s greatest dance artists, our 1,500 seat auditorium is equipped with advanced theatre technology, ensuring unbeatable technical service everything from computer controlled flying equipment and motorised acoustic panels to state of the art sound and lighting controls. Scenery and equipment are unloaded straight onto the stage through lorry-accessed dock doors. The performance area of the stage measures 15m x15m, giving ample room for spectacular presentations and impactful back projection. During the daytime, the theatre is a modern meetings facility, playing host to some of the UK s most prestigious businesses. Every seat gives an excellent view of the stage. The front 4 rows may be removed to form an orchestra pit. For smaller events, the second circle can be hidden from view, reducing the capacity to 1,000 or 600 seats. Our fantastic technical team who work with some of theatre s most demanding stars will advise on the best possible use of our lighting, sound and AV equipment to give your presentation real stand-out. 5 Lillian Baylis Studio The Lilian Baylis is one of our most popular theatre spaces for conferences, seminars and workshops, as well as performances and film screenings. Recently refurbished with the latest sound and light equipment and acoustic enhancements, the smallest of our theatres combines state-of-the-art events facilities with real theatre atmosphere. It s a stimulating and intimate venue with a uniquely flexible design. Retract the seating at the touch of a button to present the theatre as a blank canvas for cabaret style meetings, private dining, drinks receptions, seasonal parties and our own club nights. Inside the building, event spaces composed over three floors create real impact. The Mezzanine level features movable acoustic walls, creating three discrete function rooms or a spacious reception area. Workshops, boardroom meetings, training events, press launches and lunch events are well accommodated in the modern, light and airy function rooms with natural daylight and full AV facilities as standard. In the evening, this area is transformed for VIP entertainment, including private parties and pre- and post-show dining. This is our principal space for corporate hospitality, leading as it does into the best seats in the house. We offer a range of packages from Champagne reception to seated dinner with the onstage stars. 8 Meeting Rooms and Studios Three world class dance studios double as unique reception spaces, while a dedicated lecture theatre provides the backdrop for more formal sessions. These rooms offer the ideal environment for small training seminars for anything between 5 and 75 delegates. Flexibility is at the heart of the venue, enabling conference organisers to host events in cabaret, boardroom or classroom style, with optional breakout spaces which can be booked in any combination to create your bespoke event. 9 Peacock Theatre Sadler s Wells West End venue is situated close to Covent Garden and Holborn stations. The newly refurbished Peacock Theatre can accommodate up to 1,000 guests in tiered seating with an impressive presentation area. Front of House facilities include two roomy bars, making the Peacock Theatre perfect for evening performances, awards ceremonies or gigs. Behind the scenes at the Peacock, our technical team have the expertise to guarantee that every event or performance runs absolutely smoothly. Full lighting and sound rig are available to ensure professional results. From tango to tap and flamenco to family shows, the joy of movement and celebration of dance are always at the heart of the Peacock Theatre.
