2 ABOUT THE CCC The Community Cultural Centre (CCC) is a first class facility that offers a variety of spaces and amenities to meet your needs. Whether you are planning a small meeting, a large conference or banquet, or a wedding, we have what you need for a successful event. Opened in May, 2011, the CCC houses the Town of Morinville Community Services department, and has become the facility-of choice for many community groups, festivals, events and celebrations. A live professional performance series - LIVE at the CCC is presented each year at the Community Cultural Centre, bringing engaging entertainment and interactive activities to the venue for audiences of all ages.
3 The best live entertainment just outside your door! LIVE at the CCC brings world-class performances to Morinville from acclaimed local, national, and international artists. This season the tradition continues as we feature a variety of performers sure to please all ages. In our Mainstage Series, we welcome back favourite Derina Harvey with her powerful voice and rollicking band for a night of sing-along, dance-along, East coast-inspired music. Local favourites, The Carolines will bring the sublime melodies and heart breaking harmonies of classic country to the stage for a memorable evening. In a departure from the usual, we will be featuring the duelling pianos of Marquee Pianos in a unique late night cabaret. The performance will feature a request filled set list, music into the early hours and a midnight lunch. Don t miss out! Our Family Series starts with a bang as we welcome award winning children s entertainers Bobs and LoLo to the venue for a fun afternoon of singing and dancing. Dufflebag Theatre returns with Cinderella, a classic story, which due to Dufflebag s improvised and audience participatory style, is sure to take many twists and unexpected turns. And lastly mainstay Missoula Children s Theatre will return to rehearse and produce a show with local children. Keep your eyes peeled for audition notices in the months leading up to MCT s performance so the child(ren) in your family can participate. This season we are also offering season subscription pricing. For one price, you can get a ticket to all the shows in a series. A family 4-pack subscription is also available for the Family Series. Buy early to enjoy these discounts. We hope to see you in our venue over the coming season!
