Federal Highway Boca Raton, FL Sol Children Theatre is thrilled and proud to announce the 2018 Summer Musical Theatre Performance Intensive! This is a five-week program offering the opportunity to experience what it is to put on a full-length, fully-staged production. From performing on stage to learning the technical aspects that go on behind the scenes, each participant will receive one-on-one training to further their love and gain a deeper appreciation for the performing arts. This is a one of a kind program located right here in Boca Raton at Sol Theatre. Our weeks are packed with friendly games and contests, so the fun never stops! 3 Sara Grant, Director Sara graduated from Cornish College of the Arts and received her BFA in Acting. Some past productions include: Disaster!, American Idiot, Oleanna, Fancy Nancy, Love s Labour s Lost, and The Last 5 Years. As a Choreographer she has worked with Evening Star Productions, Teatro ZinZanni (Seattle), the Florida Renaissance Festival, and Sol Children Theatre. Choreography/Dance Direction credits include: Gypsy, Around the World in 80 Days, The Addam s Family, Aladdin, Honk, The Christmas Carol, Mary Poppins, and Beauty and the Beast. Directorial credits include: Macbeth, Assistant Director of Waiting for Godot, Co-Director of Watchful Eyes; a staged reading, and a number of community out-reach performances with Commedia del Sol. 3

4 Courtney Poston (Director) is delighted to be making her directorial debut here with Sol Children's Theatre! A Palm Beach County native, Courtney has recently worked as Music Director for Seussical, Jr. at Jupiter Christian School, and was the Assistant Choreographer/Asst. Director/Asst. Music Director for Sleeping Beauty Kids with Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach. Courtney received her B.A. in Musical Theatre from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and has been working as a professional actress regionally for almost a decade. She is a company member with StoryMakers: Theatre for Young Audiences, based at the Kravis Center. Additionally, she is a company member with both the Palm Beach Shakespeare Festival and the Shakespeare Troupe of South Florida: Love's Labour's Lost (Princess), The Taming of the Shrew (Bianca), Hamlet (Guildenstern), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena, Titania). Other regional credits include: Evening Star's Macbeth (Witch 2/Banquo/Macduff), Lost Girls' Theatre's Juliet Among the Changelings (Trudy); Slow Burn Theatre's Side Show (Violet), The Wedding Singer (Julia); The Wick Theatre s The Full Monty (Estelle); Outré Theatre s The Wild Party (Mae).
