1 PLEASE BRING A HAT, SWIMMERS, SWIM SHIRT, GOGGLES AND TOWEL AS WE WILL BE SWIMMING EVERY DAY Monday 12 December This morning we are going to be making lots of CHRISTMAS CRAFT and we will be making Christmas presents to take home. Tuesday 13 December Wednesday 14 December We re going to the MOVIES today to see Trolls Rated G. A hair-raising comedy filled with unbelievable adventure & incredible music! Known for their crazy, colourful, & magical hair, Trolls are the happiest, most joyous creatures ever to burst into song. From the genius creators of Shrek, Trolls stars Anna Kendrick as Poppy, the optimistic leader of the Trolls, & her polar opposite, Branch, played by Justin Timberlake. Together, this unlikely pair of Trolls must embark on an adventure that takes them far beyond the only world they ve ever known. We will be going to Event Cinemas at Indooroopilly Shoppingtown and travelling by BCC bus. Bring your ELECTRONICS along today. Bring along any G rated games. We can also play on the Wii. Thursday 15 December It s WHEELS DAY. Bring along your bike, scooter, skate board or skates. Dean is also bringing along the go karts. Friday 16 December Let s CHILL OUT today. Come along with ideas about what you want to do. Cooking, craft, watch movies, do puzzles

Tuesday 20 December Let s do some CHRISTMAS COOKING today. Maybe we can make cookies to give as presents or a treat for us because it s close to Christmas. Wednesday 21 December Today we are going to finish off our CHRISTMAS PRESENTS so we can take them home and put them under the tree. Thursday 22 December Friday 23 December THIS WORKSHOP COMMENCES AT 9.30AM Today Julia and her team are coming from Kids Cirque to present a MOVIE MAKING workshop. Film School is a half day combination workshop involving drama, scripting, filming and editing a movie. The session commences with our 60 minute Actors Guild workshop, where children will get comfortable with each other, practise the basics, dress up, act out stories and have a lot of fun. Children will then form groups, where they will use familiar stories and word games to put together a short script for their movie. Using our selection of costumes, props and music plus ipad with film editing software - groups will be assisted to film and edit their movies. This session is guaranteed to be a lot of fun. It s PARTY DAY!!! We re going to swim and play games eat food and celebrate the arrival of Christmas. TO ALL OUR OSHC FAMILIES WE HOPE YOU HAVE A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR AND WE LL SEE YOU NEXT YEAR

3 IMPORTANT INFORMATION 24 hours notice must be given if a cancellation is required otherwise you will be charged the daily rate. For a great time bring your imagination, lots of ideas and a happy face. Also bring morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea unless otherwise stated. Come along and learn a new sport. After lunch we can cool down in the pool. It s MOVIE day. We will be going to Event Cinemas at Indooroopilly Shopping centre to see: Sing (currently not rated). A koala named Buster recruits his best friend to help him drum up business for his theatre by hosting a singing competition. Wednesday 11 January. Let s CHILL OUT today. So bring along your curiosity and let s explore. Tuesday 17 January We re going to the MOVIES today at Event cinemas Indooroopilly to see: Ballerina Rated G Félicie is a young orphan from Brittany with only one passion: dance. With her best friend Victor, who wants to become a great inventor, she devises a madcap plan to escape the orphanage for Paris, the City of Lights where the Eiffel Tower is still being built! Wednesday 18 January THIS WORKSHOP COMMENCES AT 9.30AM Thursday 19 January Today Kids Clique is coming and we are going to do a CODE RED workshop. Code Red is an army themed fitness program perfect for all ages. Run by Kids Clique fierce but funny drill sergeant, children will use both mind and body to solve a series of mental and fitness challenges. It s ELECTRONICS day so bring your electronic equipment along and G and PG rated games. Friday 20 January It s PARTY DAY. We ll have party games, food and lots of fun activities.
