1 Auditions: Saturday, Aug year olds: noon 9-10 year olds: 1 p.m year olds: 2 p.m year olds: 3 p.m. For questions call: Audition location: Aurora Center for Active Adults (ACAA) 30 Del Mar Circle Aurora, CO For directions ONLY call AUDITION FEE OF CALLBACKS: Sunday, Aug. 13 from 12:30-4:30 p.m. (If chosen you will be assigned a callback time at the auditions on Aug. 12.) Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the audition time with a completed audition form. Dancers will remain in the holding room until the assigned audition time. Only dancers and staff are allowed inside of the audition. Proper dance attire is required: black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, pointe shoes, jazz shoes, tap shoes, tennis shoes, hair in a bun with no bangs or jewelry. There are all styles of dance in this show. Please bring leggings or jazz pants to put on for the hip hop and jazz sections of the audition. Male dancers should wear black tights or jazz pants and a form-fitting white or black tank top or t-shirt. Shoe requirement is the same for boys except that they do not need pointe shoes. The cast will be posted no later than Aug. 17 at 5 p.m. on the Aurora Dance Arts webpage, AuroraGov.org/Dance. You will need to call the Dance Office at and confirm that you accept your part(s) by Aug. 23 and pay $60 for the performance fee. No information regarding cast placement will be given over the phone. If you are not able to commit to most rehearsals and ALL performances, please do not accept the part you are offered. You must be available for all rehearsals every weekend Aug. 25-Nov. 5. Dress rehearsals and shows are Nov with 2 days of school shows on Nov. 8 and 9 at 9:30 a.m. and noon in The Aurora Fox. $5 PLEASE BRING CASH OR CHECK TO THE AUDITION *Cast and rehearsal schedule is subject to change per director s discretion.

2 REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE Rehearsal schedule is dependent upon part(s) that you are assigned. Friday evenings between 4-8 p.m. Saturdays between 1-7:30 p.m. Sundays between 1-6 p.m. A detailed schedule of specific rehearsal times and locations will be available Thursday, Aug. 17. Rehearsal times may change each month. Parents, please be prompt when picking students up from rehearsals. Dress rehearsals will take place on Nov. 6 and 7 from 5-10 p.m. No unexcused absences Absolutely no missed performances Performances Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 8 and 9, school performances 9:30 a.m. and noon. Friday, Nov. 10, public performance at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, public performances at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, public performance 2 p.m. All performances are held in The Aurora Fox, 9900 E. Colfax Ave, Aurora, CO A performance fee of $60 is required to participate and is due by Sept. 30,, payable to The City of Aurora by check, cash or credit card. Dancers are provided with all of the costumes and accessories needed for this production. Parents are responsible for the purchase of undergarments, tights, footwear, and makeup.
