Group bookings are offered on every day of the week, subject to availability. TICKETS Tickets can be pre-printed with your group s name, film and function date. If you have remaining tickets these must be returned or you will be charged for them also. PAYMENT Bookings can be made for an estimated number of guests initially. Confirmation of final numbers are requested approximately one week prior to your booking. Final payment is required no later than 2 working days prior to your booking. Final payment for exclusive cinema hire is required one week prior to your booking. Payment can be made by cash, cheque or credit card. No deposit is required. Please note that ticket and catering payments are non-refundable. Private cinema hire allows groups to conduct speeches and audio/visual presentations within the cinema, prior to their screening. Please contact the Group Bookings Manager to discuss your technical requirements and additional costs. Technical rehearsals with a projectionist are available and charged at a rate of $75.00 per hour (minimum 1 hour charge). Rehearsals are conducted outside of the opening hours of the cinema, usually between the hours of am. A Digital Cinema Fee (DCF) may apply when a current feature film is not being screened or if a cinema is being used for alternate content. The rate is between $27.50 and $ Page 3

If you choose to use a function space without including any food or drinks as part of your booking package, a flat fee of $50 applies. The responsibility of food safety and hygiene lies solely with the group organiser. Due to limited refrigeration space all food must be consumed prior to the film. No hot food is permitted. No items that are available for purchase from the Palace Bar are to be sold or given away, ie. Lollies, popcorn, packet chips, ice creams, alcohol etc. Ask about exclusive use of one of our beautiful foyer spaces when you are considering your catering package.
