2 About Nestled within Discovery Harbour on Georgian Bay, the is a pleasantly rustic, 366-seat venue that offers all the comforts of a modern facility. Flanked by the historic buildings of a 19th-century british naval and military base, the theatre is located at the end of a beautiful boardwalk that looks on to Discovery Harbour. A visit to the takes only 45 minutes from Barrie and Orillia, or just over an hour from Collingwood. While in the area, you ll also want to discover such treasures as Ontario s first European Community at Sainte-Marie among the Hurons. Intermission Enjoy treats in your seats! You may now bring beverages and snacks purchased in the lobby inside the theatre with you. Pre-order your refreshments for intermission. We offer a variety of spirits and wines, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. We also carry a selection of refreshing ice cream treats. Avoid the crowd at the bar! Simply leave your pre-paid order with our bar staff and it will be waiting for you at a pre-determined location in time for intermission. Please note, no outside food or beverages are allowed in the auditorium. Washroom Facilities Washrooms are located to the right of the main doors. Accessibility Drayton Entertainment is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to patrons with disabilities. There are designated wheelchair spots available at each performance. Please contact our box office to book wheelchair seating in advance of the performance. We are pleased to offer infrared hearing devices at no charge. Patrons who require our wireless hearing assist system may pick up a personal device at the Box Office. Parking Free parking is available in the parking lot at Discovery Harbour. The parking lot is only a short walk to the theatre. Free shuttle service is available for those who require assistance (weather permitting).
