5 5 Do You Remember In the early 1980 s, including numerous years prior, our Local celebrated Christmas with a wonderful Children s Christmas Party, it was always a special time for the children. Members brought their children to meet Disney s fun characters and Local 324 personnel dressed up as special cartoon and movie characters. Characters like Mickey Mouse, Little Bo Peep, Snow White, Cinderella, and many others, different characters through the years. We were greeted with big smiles, they were always so excited, pointing and yelling out at their favorite characters, wanting to meet them. As characters, we always took special care to greet the children and make it special. Every child received a candy-filled Christmas stocking, watched a special Disney cartoon and, at the end, chose a special gift. (I remember most of these special faces from the past, many gone now, can you name a few, maybe pick out a few of our club s current and past members?)
