The site of a seminal Revolutionary War battle, today s Ridgefield is a quintessential New England village steeped in history and on the edge of the arts. Each spring, RIFF brings dozens of films from around the globe to town for thoughtful screenings in curated venues including the Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield Library, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Keeler Tavern Museum and the Prospector Theater. In addition, RIFF offers master classes in different aspects of film and filmmaking. The festival will run May 19-21,. Join us. 2 FACT SHEET The 2nd annual Ridgefield Independent Film Festival will feature 55 screenings, master classes, panel discussions, parties and filmmaker events in world-class venues such as The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, The Prospector Theater, and the Ridgefield Playhouse. Attendees will be able to comfortably walk between venues and enjoy the picturesque village during the first bloom of Spring. Location Ridgefield is located on the western edge of Fairfield County, Connecticut, along Westchester County, New York consistently named two of the most affluent areas in America. We are home to a well-educated, professional, family-focused and community-minded people. Our quintessential New England town has recently been listed among America s Best Main Streets in Parade Magazine, the top five Safest Towns in America by SafeWise, and said to be replete with sophisticated arts and cultural offerings by The New York Times. Audience RIFF is projected to attract movie buffs, filmmakers, journalists and residents from throughout Fairfield and Westchester Counties and the New York City area. Our inaugural festival in 2016 was attended by filmmakers from outside the region, including some who made the trip from China and Los Angeles. Film Festival attendees tend to be: Young: Approximately 75 percent are aged Affluent: Annual HHI is more than $100,000 in 50 percent of attendees Well-educated: Roughly 84% are college graduates, 28% have a Masters Degree Publicity Already garnering more than 500,000 media impressions via print, electronic and social media, RIFF promises ample exposure for our sponsorship partners.

The Executive Producer sponsors will receive: Presenting sponsorship of one RIFF special event or block of programming (e.g. RIFF Awards, Opening Night Cocktail Reception, Saturday night featured screening, Horror Night, Master Classes) Logo on publicity, advertising media and marketing collateral, including sponsor reel shown before all programs, step and repeats at featured events. 5 ABOUT RIDGEFIELD, CONNECTICUT Situated in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains, this 300-year-old community has a population of 24,648, as of 2012, and divided fairly evenly between males and females. The median income for a family in Ridgefield, as of 2012, was $148,104 and the median age was 43. About 70% of households are married persons, with about 43% of households having children under the age of 18. As of 2012, 71% of residents 25 or older were college graduates with a bachelors degree or higher. Our town and the surrounding area is residence to many accomplished individuals in the arts and entertainment industry, as well as business professionals. The surrounding communities of Wilton and Westport, CT and North Salem and South Salem, NY have similar demographics. The benefits of having a film festival in town are clear. The Sidewalk Film Festival, now in its seventeenth year brings in $1.5m in revenue to Birmingham Alabama. Taos Shortz Fest brought in a reported $400k to Taos, New Mexico in its seventh year; and the granddaddy of American Film Festivals, Sundance, brought the state of Utah a whopping $84m last year, with a total tax revenue of $7m, while supporting 1325 jobs.
