2 1 THE BFF BACKSTORY LOCAL, INDEPENDENT FILM is a rising source of excitement and profitability in the Treasure Valley and the great state of Idaho. In 2015, Boise hosted the first successful city-wide Film Festival (BFF) endorsing the Valley s readiness to embrace its film identity and support a growing film community through collaboration, inspiration, and creation. With the second BFF receiving even wider acclaim and attention in 2016, Boise, the Treasure Valley and Idaho continue to show excitement and dedication to a collaborative, impactful, and strong local to Idaho film industry. #rethinkfilm #rethinkboise #rethinkidaho

3 2 THE BFF LOGLINE BFF S MISSION is to support, collaborate, partner, engage, develop and sustain film within Idaho as well as bring innovative and significant filmmakers, films, artists, writers and other cinematic opportunities to our film community with the intent of showcasing Idaho as a premier production destination.

4 the third annual BOISE FILM FESTIVAL 3 #BFF2017 will provide a platform for and shine a spotlight on independent, local filmmakers and film production in Idaho. Scheduled in September 2017, the Festival weekend is filled to the brim with a wide array of film premieres and screenings from around the state and the world, as well as provide educational and youth programs, impactful panels, filmmaker Q&As, parties, motivational workshops, and networking opportunities. We celebrate local, national and international films in addition to bringing in talent and bringing together the talent in unique downtown Boise venues that already exists in our beautiful home state of Idaho.
