In addition, the display objects will be supported by exhibits loaned by Ashby Canal Trust. FREE. Art Exhibition: Pay a visit to our onsite coffee shop and peruse the painted works of local artist Barrie Slatter. The images on display will focus mainly on the subjects of aviation and local history. Most pieces will be available to purchase. FREE ENTRY. The Ticknall Potteries : Join Janet Spavold and Sue Brown from the Ticknall Archaeological Research Group for some history about the Ticknall Potteries. 2.50pp - incl. refreshments. No Need To Book! Lino Printed Christmas Cards : Try your hand at lino cutting and printing with Jayne Proctor, as she shows you how to design your own Christmas Cards. Help spread some Christmas Cheer with musicians Graham Nutt and Steve Rhodes, for what is guaranteed to be an amazing night. Tickets cost 6pp - Booking Essential! Antique Valuation Day: Bring your antiques along to the museum and get them valued by Bamfords Auctioneers. A charge of 1 per item or set will apply. Festive Family Pottery : Guest potter Jayne Proctor will return to show you how to create and glaze your very own ceramic decorations, just in time for Christmas. A Christmas Carol in the Kiln: Storytelling, music, puppetry and a dash of audience participation will be used by Chorus Theatre, to present this lively and riotous version of Charles Dicken s festive classic!
