3 1 INSTALLATION 1. Make sure that the hardware nstallaton s performed by a certfed vendor 2. Install OTOTRAK app from Apple s App Store 3. Access the SETTINGS menu of your devce 4. Tap OTOTRAK 5. Enter the data provded by your vendor (IP address, port number, username and password)

4 2 SETUP AND START 1. Make sure that the applcaton has been nstalled on your devce. 2. Tap OTOTRAK on your devce 3. Enter your User name n the frst feld 4. Enter your Password n the second feld 5. Tap the whte OTOTRAK con to enter the app NOTE : The User name and Password are provded by your certfed OTOTRAK vendor

5 3 ADD YOUR JET SKIS 1. Addng PWC s s an admnstratve functon, therefore you cannot perform t yourself wthn the app 2. Contact your certfed OTOTRAK vendor to enter your PWC s nto the system 3. If you encounter any problem wth addng your PWC s to the app, please contact us HERE +

Tap SELECT CENTER and select a center for your ponton zone 6. Tap on the map to draw ponts that form your ponton zone 7. When you are fnshed, tap USE 8. To save ths ponton zone, tap SAVE NOTE : If you make a mstake whle drawng your zone, just tap DELETE LAST and ths wll delete your last pont.

26 24 START RENTAL TIMER 1. Setup and start the OTOTRAK applcaton 2. In the app, tap CONFIG 3. Tap the name of the jetsk you want to select 4. The tmer panel gets opened automatcally 5. In the tmer panel, enter the desred number of mnutes for a rental and then tap START. For example, f the clent books 15 mnutes, tap 1 then tap 5 and then tap START. 6. Tap the name of the jetsk to close the menu NOTE : If you make a mstake whle enterng the rental tme, just tap BACKSPACE (arrow) and ths wll delete your entry. NOTE : The rental tmer s only avalable f you chose TIMER as your tme calculaton method.

27 RENTAL TIME +2MIN Enter the tmer panel 2. In the tmer panel, tap +2MIN f you want to make ths rental 2 mnutes longer. These 2 mnutes wll now be added to the current rental tme for ths jetsk. 3. Tap the name of the jetsk to close the menu NOTE : The rental tmer s only avalable f you chose TIMER as your tme calculaton method.

28 26 STOP RENTAL TIMER 1. Setup and start the OTOTRAK applcaton 2. In the app, tap CONFIG 3. Tap the name of the jetsk you want to select 4. The tmer panel gets opened automatcally 5. In the tmer panel tap STOP. 6. You wll be prompted wth a warnng. Selectng YES wll stop the tmer before the end and regster ths rental as unauthorzed. Selectng NO wll not stop the tmer. NOTE : The rental tmer s only avalable f you chose TIMER as your tme calculaton method.

29 27 SPEED LIMIT ALL 1. In the app, tap CONFIG or SETTINGS 2. Tap SPEED LIMIT ALL on the bottom left of the screen. 3. You wll be prompted wth a warnng. Selectng YES wll set a speed lmt for all PWCs. Selectng NO wll cancel ths command.

30 28 STOP ALL 1. In the app, tap CONFIG or SETTINGS 2. Tap STOP ALL on the bottom left of the screen. 3. You wll be prompted wth a warnng. Selectng YES wll turn the engne OFF for all PWCs n case of an emergency. Selectng NO wll cancel ths command.

31 TURN ENGINE ON/OFF In the app, tap CONFIG 2. Tap ENGINE under the name of the jetsk you would lke to turn ON/OFF 3. The engne of the selected jetsk gets turned ON or OFF

32 30 RENTAL STOPWATCH 1. Setup and start the OTOTRAK applcaton 2. In the app, tap CONFIG 3. Tap the name of the jetsk you want to select 4. The stopwatch panel gets opened automatcally 5. In the stopwatch panel, tap the selected auto warnng perod. For example, f the clent books 15 mnutes, tap AUTO WARNING 15 MIN. 6. Tap the name of the jetsk to close the menu NOTE : To reset the stopwatch, just tap RESET STOPWATCH and ths wll reset the stopwatch. NOTE : The rental stopwatch s only avalable f you chose STOPWATCH as your tme calculaton method.

33 REMOTE CONTROLLER In the app, tap REMOTE 2. Tap the name of the jetsk or multple jetsks you want to select 3. Tap STOP to stop the selected jetsks. You are prompted wth a warnng. Tappng YES wll stop the jetsks and tappng NO wll cancel the command. 4. Tap the GREEN LOCK to unlock the selected jetsks. You are prompted wth a warnng. Tappng YES wll unlock the jetsks and tappng NO wll cancel the command. 5. Tap the RED LOCK to lock the selected jetsks. You are prompted wth a warnng. Tappng YES wll lock the jetsks and tappng NO wll cancel the command. 6. Tap BACK the close the remote menu

36 IDC - INTELLIGENT DISTANCE CONTROL Wthn a regular rental perod, t s often possble that two or more rentees wll attempt to operate ther jetsks around/near each other. Snce these manouvers are hghly rsky, the OTOTRAK system automatcally actvates a set of safety features n order to help prevent collsons, damage or smlar. In the case where two watercrafts are too close to each other, or travellng on a collson course, the OTOTRAK system wll (fully automatcally) mplement RPM lmtaton and a sound warnng n order to help prevent unwanted stuatons. Ths mode s to be actvated whenever a regular rental perod s selected n order to mantan safety at the hghest possble level. Informaton on settng up IDC can be found HERE. Bare n mnd that these automatc lmtatons are NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes. NOTE : Ths mode s mplemented n order to ncrease safety at sea and reduce the possblty of two or more watercrafts colldng. It s however NOT a guarantee that jetsks wll not collde whle n ths mode. OTOTRAK assumes no responsblty for possble PWC collsons whle ths mode s actve! CHECK FUEL LEVEL Due to the fact that the OTOTRAK system has been connected drectly to the PWC, the user has the possblty to check current fuel levels for all jetsks, at all tmes. 37 CHECK TIME TO EMPTY Ths functon automatcally calculates how much tme s avalable on a selected jetsk untl t s empty and needs to be refueled. Ths functon s clearly just an estmaton based on the current FUEL LEVEL and an approxmated consumpton based on current jetsk usage. Ths functon s not to be understood as a stopwatch to determne exactly how much tme untl empty s avalable, but more as an assstant ndcatng approxmately how much rental perods are remanng n the selected jetsks fuel tank. To see how you can check the tme to empty, see HERE. GEOFENCE A GEOFENCE s smply a set of geographcal boundares that represent an area wthn whch your jetsks operate wthn full capacty. Imagne t as a vrtual box that determnes where your jetsks can move freely and at full power (or at a certan level you allow). If a rentee breaks these boundares (tres to leave the box ), the OTOTRAK software automatcally actvates a set of safety features (sound alarms, RPM lmtaton and smlar). Ths mode s to be actvated whenever a regular rental perod s selected n order to mantan safety at the hghest possble level. Informaton on settng up ths GEOFENCE can be found HERE. 38 INSTALLATION The OTOTRAK nstallaton comprses of two separate processes - the hardware and software nstallaton. The hardware nstallaton has to be performed by a certfed OTOTRAK vendor. The software nstallaton s descrbed HERE MASTER MODE Settng a jetsk n MASTER MODE wll automatcally dsable all necessary safety features. Ths s exactly why ths mode s ntented exclusvely for very experenced operators! Please bare n mnd that NO SAFETY FEATURES OR LIMITATIONS are actve n ths mode! The operator s nevertheless oblgated to follow local safety regulatons and execute extreme cauton when operatng a watercraft n ths mode! We encourage you to exercse extreme cauton when operatng the watercraft n ths mode, and snce all OTOTRAK safety and lmtaton features are dsabled at your request, full responsblty for all actons and consequenses falls on the operator. 39 PONTON ZONE The OTOTRAK software allows for the creaton of two rental zones, the PONTON ZONE and the RENTAL ZONE. The PONTON ZONE can also be dubbed the safety zone due to the fact t s stuated drectly n or around your rental ponton, platform, per or smlar. When found n ths zone, all jetsks must comply to local regulatons, as well as move extremely slow n order to avod colsons, damage or smlar. Therefore, when a regular rental perod s started, the jetsks RPM gets automatcally lmted by the system. Informaton on settng up ths PONTON ZONE locaton can be found HERE. When the jetsk clears ths safety zone and enters the regular rental zone, ths lmtaton s lfted, and a dfferent lmtaton gets appled automatcally. Explanaton for ths mode can be found HERE. Bare n mnd that these automatc lmtatons are NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes. RENTAL STOPWATCH The rental stopwatch s to be used as an nstrument for drectly actvatng predefned rental perods. For nstance, f you are bookng 15-mnute rental packages, you wll clearly select 15 mnutes as the auto warnng tme HERE. Ths rental tme calculaton method dffers from the RENTAL TIMER mode because ths mode offers predefned rental perods whereas the RENTAL TIMER offers free entry of rental tme per each separate rental. 40 RENTAL ZONE The OTOTRAK software allows for the creaton of two rental zones, the PONTON ZONE and the RENTAL ZONE. The RENTAL ZONE s stuated n a clear and safe body of water, far from the shore, your rental ponton, platform, per or smlar. When found n ths zone, all jetsks must comply to local regulatons, but allow a hgher RPM level to the rentee. Therefore, when a regular rental perod s started, and the jetsk clears the PONTON ZONE, ts RPM gets automatcally set by the system. Informaton on settng up ths RENTAL ZONE locaton can be found HERE. When the jetsk leaves ths RENTAL ZONE or enters the PONTON ZONE, a dfferent lmtaton gets appled automatcally. Explanaton for ths mode can be found HERE. Bare n mnd that these automatc lmtatons are NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes. RPM AUTO LIMIT When a regular rental perod s started and the jetsk reaches the regular rental zone, OTOTRAK allows the jetsk to operate at full RPM (full throttle). To select exactly how much RPM s at dsposal durng ths tme, use the slder n the settngs found HERE. For nstance, f RPM AUTO LIMIT s set at 85%, when a jetsk reaches the rental zone, a maxmum of 85% wll be avalable to the rentee. Bare n mnd that ths automatc lmt s NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes.

41 RPM OFFLINE LIMIT If a jetsk unexpectedly looses GSM connectvty to the OTOTRAK server, t s automatcally transferred to OFFLINE mode. In order to ncrease securty durng ths perod, the jetsk s not allowed to operate at full RPM (full throttle). To select exactly how much RPM s at dsposal durng ths tme, use the slder n the settngs found HERE. For nstance, f RPM OFFLINE LIMIT s set at 50%, when a jetsk goes offlne, a maxmum of 50% wll be avalable to the rentee. Bare n mnd that ths automatc lmt s NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes. RPM ZONE ZERO When a regular rental perod s started by the user, the OTOTRAK applcaton automatcally actvates the RPM ZONE ZERO mode. In order to comply to local legslaton and ncrease securty, durng ths perod, the jetsk s not allowed to operate at full RPM (full throttle). To select exactly how much RPM s at dsposal durng ths tme, use the slder n the settngs found HERE. For nstance, f RPM ZONE ZERO s set at 20%, when a regular rental perod s started, a maxmum of 20% wll be avalable to the rentee. After the jetsk clears the zone zero and enters the regular rental zone, a maxmum defned n RPM AUTO LIMIT wll be avalable to the rentee. Bare n mnd that ths automatc lmt s NOT avalable n MASTER or TOUR modes.

42 SOUND WARNING The OTOTRAK system allows the rental crew to communcate wth the rentee va a sound warnng. Ths sound warnng s a loud sgnal emted from the OTOTRAK hardware bult nto the jetsk. A sound warnng can be actvated automatcally when the jetsk s n a regular rental perod to sgnal the end of the rental perod, extng the rental zone, for eee warnngs or smlar. Ths exact sound warnng can also be actvated manually from the rental crew n order to sgnal the rentee for any number of reasons. To actvate the SOUND WARNING manually, see HERE. SPEED LIMIT When a regular rental perod s started, OTOTRAK allows the jetsk to operate at a certan RPM. Operatng the jetsk at a specfc level can cause the watercraft to reach specfc speeds. Actvatng the SPEED LIMIT can lmt the maxmum speed a watercraft s allowed to travel at regardless of the maxmum RPM set prevously. The SPEED LIMIT s a safety feature wth hgher prorty than the RPM lmt. 43 SPEED LIMIT ALL In case of an emergency, the OTOTRAK system allows the user to actvate an mmedate speed lmt to all jetsks under hs control at a specfc rental locaton. Ths way, all jetsks are set to a predefned speed lmt automatcally at the same tme. To see how you can actvate the SPEED LIMIT ALL functon, see HERE. START RENTAL TIMER The rental tmer s to be used as a tme measurement nstrument for determnng exactly how long your rental perods are. For nstance, f you are bookng 10-mnute rental packages, you wll clearly enter 10 mnutes nto the rental tmer. All rental perods entered ths way are logged nto the statstcs for revew and management. STOP ALL In case of an emergency, the OTOTRAK system allows the user to mmedately stop all jetsks under hs control at a specfc rental locaton. Ths way, all jetsks are stopped at the same tme. 44 TIME CALCULATION OTOTRAK features two dfferent tme calculaton methods for rental perods. TIMER allows the user to set a specfc rental perod n the menu. The rental perod then counts down after the user presses START. STOPWATCH allows the user to select from a predefned lst of rental perods n the menu. The rental perod starts automatcally and counts down. A warnng sound s played to the user at the end of the rental perod. Selecton of these two tme calculaton methods s descrbed HERE TOUR MODE Ths mode s ntended for jetsk tours or jetsk safar. If a jetsk s set n TOUR MODE t wll be allowed to operate outsde the predefned PONTON and RENTAL ZONES. At the same tme however, dfferent restrctons wll apply - user may confgure several safety zones wthn whch the jetsks n the tour group wll behave as f they are n a regular PONTON or RENTAL ZONE. The tour gude (OTOTRAK user) wll at ths tme have MASTER mode actvated as well as the TOUR mode, ndcatng hs jetsk s the master for the group. If ths user so decdes, t s possble to lmt the speed of all the jetsks n the group accordng to hs current speed.

45 WAKE The WAKE functon n OTOTRAK s used n areas wth a possblty of hgh waves. In such stuatons, the nbult securty feature would not allow suffcent throttle to the jetsk n the ponton area requred to break through the hgh waves and reach the regular rental zone. The user can therefore use ths feature n order to allow hgher RPMs n the ponton area so that the jetsk could break through to the regular rental zone. WAKE modes 1, 2, 3 and 4 allow for dfferent amounts of added throttle (hgher RPMs) to match the condtons at sea. Selecton of these WAKE modes s descrbed HERE
