2 ABOUT THE COURSES THREE WEEK INTENSIVE ACTING COURSE INTRODUCTION TO DRAMA SCHOOL If you are considering a career in the professional performance arts world, and applying for a full-time drama school, this course will help to answer your questions. Students will experience an intensive practical introduction to the industry. Closely mirroring the work that takes place when taking a Foundation Diploma, students on this short course undertake training in acting, voice, movement, dance, improvisation, Shakespeare, modern text, improvisation, mime, a combination of styles and practitioners, acting for camera techniques, presentation, public speaking and Musical Theatre (optional). The course culminates in a public performance and all students will take away a copy of the short film they have performed in

THREE WEEK INTENSIVE COURSE This short intensive course is an ideal introduction for students with no film or TV experience or some theatre experience, but who may not have worked on camera. 10 ABOUT THE PRINCIPAL AND FOUNDER CHRISTINE HALLAS-APPLEBY Christine Appleby is Artistic Director of Say Two Production Company Ltd with more than 40 years professional experience in the industry, She has directed, produced and acted in hundreds of performances, both nationally and internationally, in mainstream theatre, film/television and education. Christine has a long and successful association with LAMDA. and is a practitioner for the RADA certificate ISTD., PTD., and RAD. As well as her work in schools, colleges and universities, theatre nationally & internationally, TV & film, Christine continues to run several Youth Performing Arts Companies. Arts Awards training will also be available, encouraging students to explore the Arts and develop their understanding and exploration of the industry. Older students taking Diplomas, Pe Cert Lam and LSDE level 5, who qualify to claim funding grants from the Sector Skills Council towards University fees and Accredited Performing arts courses
