1 Core Course Substitutions: pre Core Curriculum to post Core Curriculum Students who enrolled at Coastal Carolina University prior to Fall 2017 may wish to change catalog years to Fall 2017 or later. Students in this situation will have started in one set of Core Curriculum Requirements, pre-2017 Core, and will need to complete a new set of Core Curriculum Requirements, post-2017 Core. To facilitate the transfer from the pre-2017 Core to the post-2017 Core, the following list of course substitutions was created in consultation with Department Chairs and the Core Curriculum Committee. Course in Table B will automatically appear in the program evaluation for the Core Curriculum. Courses in Table A will require the student and advisor to complete a Course Substitution form and ask to substitute the original course for one course in the core goal area indicated. TABLE A: These courses were part of the pre-2017 Core Curriculum but are not part of the post-fall 2017 Core Curriculum.
