Book 15 or more passengers on the same air-inclusive tour of equal or higher value within 12 months of the FAM s return, or 100,000 in revenue, and you will be entitled to a 100% rebate of your FAM cost (based on the twin rate) What is a Familiarization tour (FAM)? It s been proven that you have greater success selling a tour when you have actually been to the destination. A Collette FAM gives you the opportunity to experience both the destination and the service provided by Collette. Why travel on a FAM trip? New to Collette? The number of meals will be on your final documents, which are sent approximately two weeks prior to departure. Who qualifies to travel on a FAM? You will be notified by that your application was received. Then, within 30 days of receipt of the application, you will be notified if you have been confirmed. When is payment due? Promotional rate tickets may be utilized for the Familiarization tour to keep the costs affordable for the participant, and therefore are subject to airline conditions of contract. In the rare instance that the scheduled flight is overbooked, the airline reserves the right to restrict the usage of the promotional ticket on the flight. The participant will be rebooked on the next available flight on the same carrier, without any other form of compensation. In turn, Collette will work with the airline and assist with any other accommodations that may be necessary to continue the educational tour. COLLETTE S TRAVEL PROTECTION PLAN Collette s Travel Protection Plan is available for an additional fee and will cover you in the event of illness, accidents, or travel and baggage delay. Payment of a per person Travel Protection Plan fee guarantees a full refund of all payments (including deposit) except for the Travel Protection Plan fee itself, in case of cancellation of travel plans for any reason prior to the day of departure.
